Maybe in the past bitcoin might have got used into crimes. Now this has decreased a lot, and people has started to give importance to bitcoin as an investment that can be used for grow ourselves better in all perspectives of life.
Actually it has been used in the past already. Silkroad was built on top of bitcoin because they think that its really anonymous. But as the saying goes, crimes does not pay, they have been taken down already. Again, its not bitcoin was design by Satoshi, criminals sees loopholes on it and take it to the next levels.
And I'm sure that criminals would now take a second look because bitcoin is not completely anon, there are coins that is better than bitcoin if you want to hide your criminal activities such as Monero.

You're right criminals will always find ways in order to fulfill their negative plans ,using any means to transact; in fiat,gold, and now taking benefits on the anonymity of cryptocurrency transactions.The government should do any means to regulate it, upgrade their forces and will hire computer experts to trace big transactions especially in the dark web transactions.In my country, only the exchanges were regulated since bitcoin will always be bitcoin where government cannot control.
The same goes for the United States Dollar and the Chinese Yuan...they are used for criminal activity. It doesn't define Bitcoin because it's found on the black market, 80-90% of people who use bitcoin use it for legitimate purposes.

surely there are instances where bitcoins are use for crimes and other mediums. they use it since it can't be trace both the doer and the sender. but it all depends on the person, if you're right and just you'll never do such things as committing crimes.
Yes Bitcoin is used in crime. So is just about everything else. Lets ban the lot and go back to bartering.
Its has been used for crime,gun smuggling,drug etc long long ago it was during the silk road event but up until now it is widely for such activities, theres no stopping this from happening again it will just be used for such deeds just like a normal currency.

Its depend to the users if they use it for crimes or in good ways. Other country are only working here in bitcoin to change their life status or financial supplemental too.

I know another one that is very familiar to me that is just like this and it's called fiat. Poeple that are criminally-minded will not stop to do if they want to commit illegal crime so check how many records where fiat has been involved other than drug trades and money laundering.
Bitcoins are now a days being used for illegal purposes which are now creating a problem for the governments to trace out.But looking upon the situation now its traceable and have eye upon the activities done through btc.Monero is totally untraceable where its totally impossible to trace out the transactions done through Monero.So its more riskier than the btc!!!
There was an article on newspaper in India that Bitcoin fuels the crime rate.. People buying drugs and guns and many illegal things using btc.. I am worried about what will happen in the future.

I'm so tired of hearing this. When it comes to crime, cash is king. Go stand outside the corner liquor store in the hood and try to buy a crack rock with bitcoin. I've seen huge piles of cash taken from cartel kingpins that can fill a room but I've never heard of a drug kingpin involved in a shootout with the Federales because he was protecting his hoard of Dash coins. Don't believe the hype.
