I have been buying 0.01 BTC each day for the last month and during this time i have seen a jump of around 10%, its really quite amazing how quickly the bitcoin price fluctuates,

So i am asking Is it worth buying bitcoin for future investment ?

Should i continue buying my 0.01 BTC daily, whats your opinions

Why don't you borrow money to buy now then repay your credit 0.01 BTC every day ?  Grin

Or sell a kidney and a lung since you have 2 anyway...

Buy it for long term hold should be a good investment.

I'd plan to sell it out somewhere in June/July 2016 timeframe shortly before the block reward halfing happens, then buy back in a couple months later.

That's ridiculous amount. You won't become rich that way. Buy more.

Well some people don't want to be rich. I think is a good amount if he want to be safe with it.

Lets say he buy 2 BTC a week and in one night BTC will drop what than?

So yeah with this amount of Bitcoin is actually a good plan.

Yes I do believe buying and holding bitcoins is a good future investment.

Right now it's around the $300, it's best to invest into it now rather then when it's around $500, it may never go back down and you woud have lost on making some good profits.

it's a good amount actually, he said daily, it's mean 0.33 monthly, and in 7 months before the halving, those are above two btc, if the price skyrocket there will be a good gain out of it

and maybe he does not have enough money for buying more, 0.33 per month it's already 130, for an average joe and in some countries this is too much  already

Only as a long term investment. Need the money don't buy.

Waiting for a price increase is not that good. Imagine someone bought at 900$, now the price is 300$, how much more will he wait and how can you be sure the price will go higher than 900?

if im buy at $900 and now price $350 i think i will waiting 1year again, if price still falling, i will sell all and cut lose
that is better than im waiting price comeback to $900 again

in investment we must determine the destination before we start it, maybe 1year, 2year , 3 year or maybe you can set your goal at price +200%

Yes it is worth it! I strongly believe in Bitcoin and I think this is a next big technological break through! The one thing you should keep in mind that it will take a while until technology doesn't develop, so don't expect the miracles. It will take at least 4-5 years in my opinion.

Second think that you need to keep in mind is that you need to invest what you can live without for these next 4-5 years.

Cheers!

I agree with the sentiment of this poll.

For the long term it is profitable, for the short terms it is too unstable yet.

We need more stability and less pump & dumps. People buying high and seeing the price go down, are getting scared.

If you look at bitcoin as a five to ten year investment you can make quite some profit or loss. Thats why its an investment.

Imagine someone buying at <$1 and buying a pizza....

That is a decision you have to make on your own.
No one here knows what will happen in the future.
So we are all gamblers here.
But we also believe in the future of this wonderful technology and see the potential it has.
Inform yourself as much as possible about Bitcoin and crypto currencies in general.
There are so many sources which you can use for that.
And then decide on your own.Only invest money what you can afford to lose. That is the most important rule!!

Just think about this. Before investing make sure this money is not needed for the time being.

if the prices crashes and you need it so bad, it mean you would make a loss on the sale.

As a general idea one might consider using caution discussing how one stores one's own btc in any public forum. It's one of the easiest ways to increase your attack vectors in a big way.

yes do it, the next year will bring many surprisess, and there is the halving, i would do it especially for that

buy what you can no need to put you in a bad position

Thanks for your advice,
I know its not much but i have just brought another 0.1 BTC

How do you all store your BTC, I don't plan on spending any so i have printed off wallets and i use blockchain.info to watch only the public key just so i can check the amount i have.... Is this the way you do it ?

yes, but i don't like paper wallet, i prefer faster things like a simple usb, i store my bitcoin there, and use various explorer to watch the funds
