The world is changing, things are evolving, and eventually, digital currencies will dominate the global financial system. Bitcoin will be used separately with fiat currencies in the near future, just as new technology emerges and the old fades away. I think change is constant and happens gradually, thus the fact that it is not currently recognized as legal tender cannot prevent it from occurring in the future.

I could hope they also researched on how to keep their wallet, accounts, private keys and seed safe, including how to backup it. We maybe in fast phase stages of digitalization but usually people end up getting hacked or scammed because of greediness and being know-nothing how security works. Because owning bitcoin/crypto is being responsible as managing your own bank, if you don't know and doesn't want to do those responsibilities, you would end up lossing your money over time.
