This would be nice, but you know to become a world currency you need to gain the trust of the people first, and so far so good bitcoin has been able to gain at least 1% of the total world attention, I know they are so many people who don't still know about it, but it's a gradually process, we'll get to that stage soon, although it's already seen as a global currency.
I do understand that bitcoin is not a physical cash, that doesn’t stopped anything,You can move with millions of dollars in your wallet as bitcoin. It will be a positive impact if this happens.
Although it's not a physical cash that doesn't mean you can't get robbed, just store those millions in your ledger wallet and move around with your phone, sh*ts happen sometimes, you never can tell.

The current world power will not allow bitcoin to become something more than it is now. But it would be interesting to see what happened then.

Anything can happen in the next 10-20 years, who knows about bitcoin at that time, as Satoshi said about bitcoin in 2010; in 20 years there will either be very large transaction volume or no volume. we will find out in 2030.

Not all governments are agreed to ban bitcoin or legalize bitcoin, like in Japan.
If what he meant was bitcoin as the currency that will dominate the world upon traditional fiat currency, it depends on people's choice.
Even if the government ban bitcoin, we can still use it by using a VPN to access overseas exchanges, yet bitcoin still can't accommodate a global scale at one time.

This may happen. But bitcoin is not always approved by governments,
and we can not say that all governments in the world want bitcoin.
So bitcoin can be a global power, but not in all countries

I must agree with you. Bitcoin can be a global power and its getting popular but still until now their are some countries that banned cryptocurrency because their government doesn't allow it to be legalized in their country . But yes bitcoin can be more bigger and has a big possibility that it will become a global power.

To gain world power, not only crypto but any currency should get the minds of people first... While people trust in the currency, it works...
Yes, gaining people's allegiance is very meaningful. Bitcoin has achieved that trust and is committing very nicely. Bitcoin will be considered a world power if this trend continues.
The basic thing about this technology called Bitcoin is that, it's decentralized and nobody has the right to manipulate it growth aside the whales which has been turbine the system for sometimes. The reason I will concur with anyone on this is, the act of Bitcoin decentralization which makes it neutral from oppressors will make it world power in future. Sincerely, Bitcoin powers will be  more felt when the adoption goes mainstream, bet me.

I seem to me that OP is pertaining to the possibility that Bitcoin could dominate the world's currency. Perhaps, to be considered as a universal currency for means of transactions. But IMO, it isn't possible for the characteristic of bitcoin. Yes, it was made for peer to peer transactions, but in order to attract more adoption of people, it should be capable to be used for micro transactions such as in stores, buying cheap items and services. It could be a store of value, our own storage for money, but never to be a world power. As bitcoin is decentralized and could not be controlled by an entity, even if Paypal will integrate it, many who really understand what Bitcoin is will still consider using a decentralized approach for the best benefit of Bitcoin.
Yes, the success relies over the increased usage of bitcoin by the common man. This happens when bitcoin becomes an asset usable on micropayments. As of now bitcoin isn't used much on micropayments because of the fees. More large scale firms have begun to adopt bitcoin as reserve and on investment, but the usage as currency on daily needs isn't found much.

In the world of crypto, bitcoin has become a world power, but to become digital money to rule the world is not easy, because people already like Fiat money, but if Bitcoin can be accepted by everyone including the government, Bitcoin will definitely rule the world.

Whether bitcoin will be a world power it is unknown to many but much stronger in the case of decentralized transactions its demand is high in the online world bitcoin is still illegal in many countries the whole world supports it the banks can become stronger if they are replaced but it will take a long time.  Fiat is currency centric the demand for bitcoin is currently higher than fiat no controls because it is not acceptable everywhere.

Well, let's don't exaggerate with presumptions. Yes, Bitcoin is a leading cryptocurrency and it will probably stay so for a longer period of time but it will not turn into world power. We still live in world of fiat currencies and our economies depend on it. Also, I don't think that US elections will change anything in that way and new elected president has so many priority issues to deal with so crypto is not on the top themes in the upcoming period.

This will increase the creativity in bitcoin world.Have we thought of this, I’m seeing bitcoin leading the world as the world power cryptocurrency. If a president of the world power is a trader and in support of bitcoin, It will affect bitcoin positively, countries, people will now start to legalize bitcoin on their own.So it will be great if this happens, I do understand that bitcoin is not a physical cash, that doesn’t stopped anything,You can move with millions of dollars in your wallet as bitcoin. Bitcoin does have its pros but also does have its cons when we do talk about global economic state or trying to make it as a currency.
Imagine that it is already fairly distributed and theres no such thing about world power or what yet as a president of a country you can possibly
tell about bitcoins existence but doesnt mean that you will require your citizens to do so unless if you are a type of a government that had
that dictatorial type then it is possible but in most cases where countries are free on making up decisions on what are the things they would
gonna do.Dont think about world power or whatsoever because bitcoin isnt created on that way.

In here, you mentioned a president who belongs to a country where crypto is accepted. So it won't affect much in pricing. If the country will be legalized as a newly accepted cryptocurrency then the price can be affected and chance of a huge push for such a big country. You can consider Btc as the world power because you can move with billions of $ with you by one wallet. So it is obviously powerful.

I got your point and it could somehow happen because of the power of the government especially if the one who knows and does trading and investing it is the president but it is not enough because there are still many people that could oppose the government, their citizen and other government institution may oppose the government of the things he/she wants to be especially if it is against the centralized system.

The adoption will be the best thing for bitcoin to be more popular all over the world, it should be started on the leader and members should follow it as well.

bitcoin is banned in some countries but bitcoin transactions still exist in that country. if the country legalizes bitcoin it will destroy the economy in the real world because we all know bitcoin is unstable in price. The important thing is that those who hold bitcoin can convert to fiat and those who have alcoin can also exchange fiat.
Yes whether it is the president of the states or president of all the first world country still more and more country doesn't recognize bitcoin it is still prohibited in some countries and also not all the countries internet is accessible. Even the president of the states is pro bitcoin he cannot control other country to follow him and legalize bitcoin. it is the decision of every country leader.

I also agree with bitcoin as a world power, but the most important thing in my opinion is that a country itself legalizes bitcoin that is the most important, but what we know is that there are restrictions from countries whose economies do not want to be disturbed by cryptocurrency

Yes of course, and i think if bitcoin legality actually happened....i am sure other coins will follow
Because, if only bitcoin has legality ... what about people who can't afford bitcoin ?
So if legality happens .... I hope it happens to bitcoin and altcoins.

This means that even without Biden, bitcoin will still grow the more because more people will support it and be using it.

I'm a bit confused here, is Biden a probitcoiner or am I missing something. The market reaction is negative so how does that make him have an impact on the market positively. The market reacted exactly to the election as speculated, a biden adminstration equals a dump in market as there are prediction of a possible strick antibitcoin policy to be practice by his government and immediately it was clear he was to emerge the winners the market correction started.

Bitcoin is likely to success more without the government approving it as a legal tendency/currency. It's to serve as a countermeasures to whatever the fiats are operating. There won't be any good coming from the government, observable the past few months of the community seeking the approval of the government's we can see how things are playing out.

The government are only interested in controlling your finance because they know money controls the world and if they're able to control the money, they control the world.

Big governments are less unlikely to make such bold moves because that would create waves in the whole world. Also regulations are still not in place for Bitcoin in many countries.
I expect the under-developed countries to make big leaps. They are not that attached to making payments through the banks. That's exactly why see much volume of txs in countries like Nigeria.

Bitcoin is already at the top when we talk about cryptocurrencies. My country is an example of that, when people talk about cryptocurrencies they are only talking about Bitcoin, and when you ask questions what is cryptocurrencies the answer you’re going to get is that ‘cryptocurrency is bitcoin’ lol.

So, Bitcoin is kind overshadowing other cryptocurrencies and it’s the most used cryptocurrency in terms of transactions, it’s a really big thing already, and I don’t see much that’s needed again except for more adoption which is what we need next.
