It's become my main source of income, but only because I'm a student. Can't imagine feeling safe relying on bitcoin speculation as my main source of income postgrad.

You can always convert half of what you earn to USD. Depending on what you are doing, it might even better then the real job Smiley

Well it won't never be any better than my real job unless I seriously considering taking some risk Smiley

I would not be able to stand putting my entire life into the hands of bitcoin, I'd be a nervous wreck all the time. What are you totally bitcoin dependent guys going to do if we crash hard? Seems plausible still, though unlikely.

But as bitcoin becomes more and more mainstream it only makes sense that more people "only" work bitcoin. I'd say that's a good thing in the long run  Cheesy

It is highly unlikely it will ever go straight down to just $0 or even $less than $50 unless a huge bug was found, which would have probably by now already. But just like any investment you diversify, I own a lot different pretty safe investments. Bitcoin is the most risky of those. If bitcoin crashed I wouldn't be screwed but my future would be rocky for sure.

There is definitely a fair amount of people that are doing this.
Sadly I'm not one of them even though I'd like to be.
I don't really know what I could do..
Max profit bet, all in on a dice game, and hope for the best.

Wat Huh

Huh if you gamble that way you might end up broke, bitcoin isn't a game, think twice and you benefit from profit

The house always wins right? You should quit whilst you are ahead. You should benefit from the profit now instead of feeling terrible when you lose it in the future.

Even if I was wasted, I could never ALL-IN on a shady on-line BTC game!

As you can see a lot of people who use the site are either developing or in a Bitcoin related company. But considering the amount of people who aren't greatly out weigh the amount who are. But hopefully that will change over time and Bitcoin will become a lot more popular among businesses.

This is the way.... but what if you don't win? Smiley

You could always try Martingale.
