Would you accept bitcoin as your salary in your profession, especially if you work in other country?

For me yes I will accept bitcoin because we can exchange it in our local currency.

Yes of course! I will definely accept it because we always had a choice to convert it into our local currency. It is still money afterall. The more bitcoin in my e-wallet, the better it is! I firmly believe that bitcoin will continue to rise in the coming years.

I will not accept bitcoin as a salary from a regular job because it is volatile so the value of the bitcoin that i will get is not stable in fiat so i might get a high salary or a very low salary so i don't think that it is a good option for the companies to pay their employees using bitcoin and i will still prefer fiat since it has a fixed value.

Base in what you have said I think before it will be implemented worldwide that bitcoin will be used for paying employees I think they will set a certain range so that no matter what the amount currentpy pf the bitcoin it will not be affected as you say that bitcoin is volatile I think they will not do a certain step that may leadin ccircumstance this system.

I would accept half of my salary in Bitcoin. Although volatility makes it risky, Bitcoin has historically demonstrated good long term performance, which means to say that if I did not convert this portion immediately after receiving the salary, I could see good results in the future.

I am! Right now I am working as a freelance writer in cryptogrind and my employer pays in bitcoin. Volatility was never an issue because I only spend my bitcoins to pay bills and the rest were kept in a hard wallet. So far this is the easiest way to save money, at least for me. I guess the volatility will only be an issue if you are a spender or when you are paying monthly for the credit cards. That sucks though.

If and when the time comes that bitcoin's price is stable, then I would not mind if my company pays my salary in the form of bitcoin. That might not happen real soon as we know that bitcoin is not yet that popular when it comes to big companies and they would surely have some apprehensions about using bitcoin as payment system for the salary of employees.

Right now, I am accepting the salary for my regular job in the form of fiat cash (Indian Rupee), and I want to continue with that system. If I accept the salary in the form of Bitcoins, then I will face trouble when I try to make the payment for rent and utility bills. Also, tax returns is another major issue. How can I show the income in BTC?
You can't show a reliable income when it comes to Bitcoin, unless you have had a really long time period where you have constant income coming from something like a signature campaign (as a quick peek in on your account specifically), or having some kind of other occupation which allows for you to have a relatively consistent income which you can prove.

I always advocate using a combination of both fiat and Bitcoin work. No point burning bridges with people who you know will have some work for you in the event of Bitcoin collapsing. Nothing ever lasts forever and it is better to have options rather than limiting yourself just because one appears to make money.

our income in BTC is still confidential and uncertain. if a company that will make a salary payment using BTC in my opinion is still not appropriate because of the volatile price / value movements so fast. will cause problems.

Depends, I will accept bitcoin if the amount is bigger than my salary in fiat. Actually accept bitcoin as your salary is also have a bad affect, i mean, the price of bitcoin is really unstable and if you receive your salary when the price of bitcoin going down, your salary also going down following the bitcoin price.

hell yeah and its super cool if we can recieve it as our salary and it will be just straight on our bitcoin wallets and we can also easiely convert it to our local curency if want to. but the downside is the bitcoins value is volatile and its not stable and our salary is not fix due to bitcoins price but overall i still want this if given a chance.

That would be a great idea. I would also like that to happen in the near future. Most people have already familiarized themselves about bitcoin, and it is very possible that sooner or later, companies will pay their employees through bitcoin. But I think, there will still a lot of things to be made clear about this idea, esp. that the value of bitcoin is so volatile that one day, its price might go up or down in a blink of an eye, and will affect the amount of money to be receive by the employees.

No. I won't accept bitcoin as a salary for now because its just too volatile. What if its value decrease due to some news that would make its price go down right after my salary is release then I would have a lower value of salary and since most of the goods that I need and my bills to pay are valued base on fiat then I would have a hard time budgeting my salary. It's not just possible for now but maybe in the future when all things are valued in bitcoin or other altcoins.

Maybe when the time comes that all goods and services will be valued in bitcoin then the volatility of it is not that big deal because the transactions won't be affected. There is no need to convert to local currency and the other way around.

Yes I would definitely accept bitcoin as a salary for regular job specially now that the value continue growing and the market demand as well as adaptation became more wider through the years. It simply shows that bitcoin market will stand for a long period and can become a good investment for future purposes.

Well, while not I even prefer to be paid in bitcoin than any other currency because I see bitcoin as not just as a currency, but as a store of value that appreciate over time as compared to other currency in the world.

I think I'm not accept bitcoin because the price of fluctuating bitcoin will be harmful and also can profitable. if you just want to trade it in local exchanger to fiat why you don't directly receive salary using fiat.

For me I think its not okay if the salary in regular jobs is bitcoin because the value is not stable unlike to real money. Except if they willing to give you a salary even the price of bitcoin goes down and they give you a same amount of your salary

If someone offer me bitcoin as my salary i will accept it especially when i'm in the other country. Because bitcoin is easy to transfer to another country. And its easy to exchange it especially here in Philippines.

Maybe yes because I know that my salary can grow up into a larger count as time passes by. But I still prefer real money to be my salary since in my country, fiat is the only accepted type of payment to purchase everything though it can be exchange bitcoin into fiat, I think it is still essential receiving real money as a salary.
