In my city, there was 62 bitcoin machines in June. Now there is 92 ATM machines around the city. Crazy.
In 2013-2014, there was 3 machines.

I get really depressed when I read things like this. My country has 4 bitcoins machines so I consider myself really lucky to live in a city with one Smiley Hopefully the trend will come to other parts of the world as well.
My country has 5 bitcoin ATM's with a 7% fee, and 4 of them are in my city, all of them in a 100 meters area Cheesy. Somebody didnt think this thru...

So how is called your city please? :-)

Buying bitcoin fee is around usually around 10%-25% depending on the ATM. Some ATM have 3% fee. There are a few different brands.

Selling bitcoin is 0% fee.
What country are you talking about btw? I've just found an article that lists the average fee on Bitcoin ATM's and it's nowhere near the percentage that you mention.

The average fee on Bitcoin ATMs in 2016 was 7.5% and 923 machines were tested in total.

Usually the fees are below 10% and I can't imagine anyone paying a 25% fee to buy Bitcoin.

Trend is definitely quite good here. Once the scalabillity issuse is addressed in the proper way, i suspect we will see the real explosion of those - maybe even introduction on regular ATM-s which would be a blast.

I would have even like to contact the bitcoin ATM companies personally for them to consider bringing the bitcoin ATM to my country. It will be a very fertile ground for them but our government and central bank are still confuse over the issue of bitcoin. But I know we will have a technologically enlighten government official that will understand the concept of blockchain technology in future.

That's good to hear. Looking at the growth and emergence of bitcoin atm all over the world, and not to mention, there are also other atm that supports bitcoin. It warms my heart and gives me assurance that we are moving to the top and regardless of other countries making a scene with banning bitcoins, we know the world sides with us. This is a sign that bitcoin is growing.
Bitcoin ATM implementation all around the world gives positive energy to the users. This provides them the easier accessing opportunity, and can roam around just holding the cards. But surely this would be having certain limitations in the usage for certain services as well purchase.

There is nothing to get surprise in this.Mass adoption of bitcoin is taking place all over the world.Day by day, more people are getting crazy to know about bitcoin.Earlier, only few people knew about bitcoin. So,there was no need for more bitcoin ATMs to be installed. But now, with increasing bitcoin users, industries related to bitcoin is rapidly increasing and new companies were entering the crypto field.Similarly, service providing companies have also found bitcoin field as an ever growing business. So,they have started to install large number of bitcoin ATMS.

I think this is a good thing in places where in people accepts Bitcoin and are open to the idea of decentralized currency, in my country, we do not have Bitcoin ATMs, what we do is to print them out and use paper wallets, if we wanted to hold them, but its a good thing that we have at codes, wherein some establishments just scan the code if we would like to use bitcoins as payment. An increase it Bitcoin ATMs only means that a lot of people are beginning to use bitcoins for transactions and soon, Bitcoin ATMs will be scattered as well just like ATMs we use with banks, hopefully we see them in my country someday.

You all are very lucky, because in my city, there is none!! Embarrassed

We are two in00, no BTC ATM's were I live, and I am pretty sure that most people here don't really know about BTC. But it's reat to hear that some countries are adopting it and making it easy to transact BTC to fiat and vice-versa! Hopefully BTC suffers the globalization and more countries start getting into BTC and exploring it's beauty!

It is a no surprise for me to see that the rate of atm of bitcoins is growing rapidly because it is too obvious that bitcoin is getting better and better and soon the people will accept it more than what we expect and if bitcoin will have a stronger foundation from its community and other supporters then we can just see rapid increased in bitcoin atms but also in adoption.

I haven't heard one in my country, I think someone said that ther e is one in makati Philippines. But I don't live there, maybe I'll have a chance if I travel sometime. On my province there is no such thing yet. I'm in a small province with 6 towns only. And As far as I know, we who uses bitcoins here only convert it to fiat via remittances and banks .

in my country i don't know if there's an ATM (automated teller machine ) in bitcoin because every time when i go to sm and other store i only see some atm like BPI ,BDO, and other but i don't see atm about bitcoin. i think in my country its only have an online atm in coins.ph (because my country is Philippines) it is the site or online money wallet i know that bitcoin was . but in the atm i don't see . but its good for you that there's an atm machine of bitcoin in your country i hope that there's have in my country

To my knowledge there is a great interest for bitcoin in the Philippines based on how many users are interested in faucets from there. If you click on link I posted above you will see that is 4 ATMs in Philippines and all are in Manila.Since the Philippines a state with a lot of islands, many far away from capital only 4 ATMs is in any case not enough. But if you visit Manila use that map to find one of available.

With proper rules and regulations coming in support of Bitcoin, government is ready to give people facilities related to Bitcoin and one such thing is Bitcoin ATM. You can mark this as a beginning of new era. With the coming of Bitcoin ATM, Bitcoin can easily be exchanged and the best fastest way to exchange for local currencies. Also, it will help the locals to know more about Bitcoin and soon Bitcoin transactions at local stores may be more frequent than ever.

It's a good news for bitcoin world. Here in my place, there is only one Bitcoin ATM. It's been 3 years now since I found out that this city has it, but until now it remains the only one machine, so far there are still no additionals. Hopefully, a lot of people also here will have an interest in it in the coming years.

I wish there were one in my area. Even if there aren't many users, the exposure should benefit everyone in the future. If I've been hearing about Bitcoins for a while now and I see a Bitcoin atm while strolling somewhere, I'd google that for sure.
