Hey guys. Just a conversation here Tongue

Does your country or city have a Bitcoin ATM?

In Croatia (where I am) we have only one Bitcoin ATM in Zagreb. It's in Tkalčićevoj 68, Zagreb if anyone wants to sell/buy some Bitcoin there.

When you buy, there's only a 3% fee! That's pretty great to be honest because usually, on forums, the fees are 10-20%.

So do you have a local Bitcoin ATM?
My country doesn't have a bitcoin atm only exchangers

Wow, 3% fee is really low. $200 has $6 in fees only! Awesome to know. I thought all ATMs got high fees Cheesy

I don't have any ATM nearby. I have to drive over 8 hours to get to one ATM which is too much. I will plan visiting one this winter though Cheesy

Croatia, eh?  That's great, it's nice to hear there's bitcoin action across the world.  I'm in the US and I have yet to see anything like a bitcoin ATM.  I don't exactly live in a hick town in a hick state either.  Sometimes I think the hicks use bitcoin more so than the urban stylers like myself.

I still don't think they're necessary, though.  You can buy bitcoin just as fast and with lower fees right on your cell phone through Circle or any of the other exchanges.

Does your country or city have a Bitcoin ATM?
The answer is no, we don’t have even a single bitcoin ATM in my city although it is the biggest city and the largest financial centre in my country. We only have some small coffee shops that accept bitcoin as payment in the foreigners area and honestly, I’ve never tried those shops as well as the bitcoin ATMs so I’m so curious about how bitcoin ATMs work and I really want to experience these extraordinary machines at least once in my life.

Because of the KYC involved with Bitcoin ATMs, personally I want nothing to do with them. I'd rather us Local Bitcoins.

I was actually surprised to find that there is actually Bitcoin ATM here in Philippines. lol. And I found it because of this thread.(I was curious so I googled it)  Grin  It's in Sunette Towers, Makati .

It says "only in minutes", does this mean that you have to verify yourself with your ID first, or don't you know that because you haven't tried it out yet?

Not your ID, rather, it has to be verified through your phone and Bitcoin Mobile App.
I haven't personally tried it yet, but according to the machine developer, the time varies:
   For Buying: Estimated Time : 3 - 10 minutes

For Selling or Getting Cash from your Bitcoin Mobile App : Estimated Time : 5 - 30 minutes

     * It mainly depends on how long the confirmation takes from your Bitcoin Mobile App
     * Some needs two confirmations for the transaction to be validated and accepted by the machine

We do have some around the area (United States). BitAccess from Canada makes great and reliable machines, and their customer service are top notch. The fees, depending on the company deploying the machines, can be high. 3% is quite good!

In fact, I am not entirely sure. However, I believe that a city like Sydney should have a Bitcoin ATM somewhere if it is in Croatia.

It would be nice to have a Bitcoin ATM around. And a meagre 3% fee is pretty good. In fact, it is one of the best that I have heard about.

as i know, when was economic crisis in Greece, there were standing Bitcoin ATM
I only wonder who did provide the BTC atm when there was a high crisis in Greece.
If you want to know more about that Greek BTC then this Reddit thread can shed some light on it.
One cool feature - apparently this BTM has no KYC capabilities build it.

Its not really the fee they charge that you need to keep a eye on but the actual currency conversion. I visited a btm last week and they the conversion should have been about $782 but they charged at $825,so got gauged on the conversion rate.

There is only one Bitcoin ATM here, in Serbia. It is located in Belgrade in some restuarant. Too bad that I am not living there, so I will not be able to buy Bitcoins that way. I hope it comes to my town so I can use it because I do not own a credit card, but Serbia is a small country so I think it will mainly be in big cities and later get to other, smaller ones.

There are no any bitcoin ATM in my country even not in capital city. And actually i came to know that bitcoin has been considered as illegal by Nepal rastra bank which is very sad news for us. But there is lot of demand of bitcoin here in Nepal these days may be government will rethink about legalizing bitcoin here and we may see bitcoin ATM machines.

we have bitcoin atm in bali, the specific location in kuta, bali thanks for bitcoin indonesia for providing this useful atm for bitcoiners here
i'm really proud of this  Grin

Are you sure it's an ATM, because I think it's just a Bitcoin vending machine.  ATM is the machine that can sell and buy Bitcoin, while a vending machine is just a machine that can just sell Bitcoin.
well after some investigation i can say that it's considered as a vending mechine as it could only sell bitcoin and i just give the bitcoin vending machine 's company a question about it and they say the same thing,it's definitely a vending machine,it's for correction
