Nah, people just get too optimistic at the first sign of a possible bull run. If the stockmarket had the same volatility as bitcoin you can just imagine how much trouble we'll be in.

But stockmarket will never be like crypto, and we are too optimistic because of the losses that we had during the bottom. The price may still the same but if you look at the transactions of bitcoin, it is still bullish because it continue to increase. Bitcoin started to pump, but its not right to say we’ve already out perfomed the stock market maybe in the future but stock market will stay as usual since it composed of top companies.
those who leave are people who are frustrated and afraid to face a volatile market. but with confidence in the future of Bitcoin and with the support of the big company, just waiting for BTC's heyday

Do not forget the "penny stock" type of things that went up like 100% in the recent year to date increases as well, you may think only the good stocks have not been that much but smaller stocks like pharma companies that made literally 1000%+ increases in the past 3 months as well. Bitcoin is one of the best investments of 2019 for sure but I don't think it is by far the best one so far, there are several smaller companies that went up much more.
The companies you are referring to have very likely done everything to front run the release of good sales and profits, so it's not very easy to actually tap into these ridiculously high return stocks. It's a gamble.

People always look at the positive side of the market, while there are always two sides to it. No one talks about the penny stocks that tanked +90% in quite a short period of time.

Bitcoin has long term potential, while penny stocks are penny stocks for a reason. They are way riskier than even an altcoin as Dogecoin for example. Almost every altcoin will benefit from Bitcoin increasing in value.
Penny stocks are always a gamble. They're small-cap companies that likely don't have a chance of living for long and are hoping to ride a hype train in order to generate capital gains for the company. It's like 75% of ICOs, when they were a thing. Those were almost always hard sucks of money that would never return anything of value for most investors if they didn't buy in prior to the coin being released.

As for normal stocks, those increase slowly because they have much more stable markets with companies that are far from being as volatile as Bitcoin and cryptos in general. Bitcoin has the joy of being able to move at the whim of a whale, actual companies need to justify their valuations.

I disagree with that because the market character is both very different, it also has the advantage if it has become a trend, both have their own advantages, so it's not surprising that it's good for everyone, I won't compare it for now and this is the time Bitcoin big and small surges and if the conditions are not good then the stock can be the best, so they must be aware of the trend and not be too confident when the conditions are not good then it becomes a fatal mistake.

Indeed bitcoin is a good coin, and also now bitcoin is over 5400$ and continue grow and this will happen if more people will not sell and keep buying and maybe a bull run will come sonner than expected.

Many countries economy is suffering from financial crisis, even the US domestic exchange market is suffering economic downtown and bitcoin is still performing greatly in terms of it price, I think it time for the world leaders to look into adopting the blockchain technology because is the best economic system free from interference.

Are we entirely sure it is "every single stock", don't get me wrong I do not have any data at my hand to dispute that but it is a marvel that bitcoin went up higher than every single stock on the market. The market has been bad and on the recover at Dow as well (just like crypto) so there must have been some stocks that increased a lot as well.

One of the things that must be done is always optimistic about the condition and development of bitcoin, although it is too early to compare this can happen. Bitcoin will be able to outperform the stock market, and I think shareholders will switch to bitcoin and will play well.

Optimistic will needed in trading but too optimistic will not good. If the market is down, we are an optimist that the market will get up in the future, but we need to realize that sometimes we cannot see something we want will happen shortly. So it is better if we can act base on the situations that happen in the market so we can adapt in all of these situations.

Older generation will never understand the capabilities of bitcoin as an investment, they only keep doing what they have been taught for years so they are going to refuse bitcoin until it reaches very huge level in the world economic structure.Don't worry about the stock investors they will come into crypto market slowly when they understand how much they can make compared to stocks, keep yourself investing before the prices gets too high.

It is too early to say that bitcoin outperformed the stock and that word did not accurately describe the fluctuations that occurred in bitcoin in the first quarter of this year. The stock has a long history while Bitcoin was born 10 years ago, it is still a long way for Bitcoin to outperform the stock market.

I do agree with this point of view. Though I am a bitcoin lover, but such remark is too young for bitcoin's performance. We may be seeing an artificial movement here. Too early to conclude things. I guess.
I also have the same point of view, with high volatility, allowing the stock to soar or vice versa. so that it is very different from the stock market which has relatively small fluctuations, because of the stability and the occurrence of market manipulation in it

Traders and analysts are screaming about the stock market’s “historic” first quarter. The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) – which tracks 30 of the largest American companies – has staged an epic rally since the start of the year, chalking up 12 percent.

But forget stocks. Bitcoin is outperforming the broader stock market by a huge margin. In fact, bitcoin is outperforming every stock on the Dow Jones Industrial Average.

Bitcoin Gains Leave Dow in the Dust

As you can see in the chart above, bitcoin has gained 44 percent since the start of the year. In contrast, the Dow has etched out 12 percent.

It’s still an impressive rise for stocks. Just three months into the year and the Dow has already surpassed the annual average stock market return of 10 percent.

Bitcoin’s rise in the same time period, however, makes the stock market rally look weak. On Wednesday, bitcoin carved out a new 2019 high, coming within touching distance of $5,500 on the Bitstamp exchange. It marks the peak of 44 percent bull run since the start of the year.

in this time something is needed for the people to get cheer up and make the conference higher but the right now situation is not suitable for Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies so if it was developed the chances of being reduced in the value of Bitcoin is easily.

The important difference here is that Bitcoin is still down way more from its all time high than stocks are, so if you take that into consideration, the short term rise of Bitcoin isn't anything special at all.

Stock investors are mostly long term minded, which can't be said about the average crypto investor, and they have gone through a prolonged bull market due to all the freshly printed money central banks have been pumping into the economy.

Eventually the stock market will go through a prolonged bear market, but for now it seems that there is still enough money ready to buy the dips, and as long as that is the case, stocks will continue to bubble up.

Bitcoin hit bottom right before start of the year. So please do expect quite high growth of Bitcoin in 2019.
Hit Bottom?
High growth of this year 2019?

Do you have that crystal ball? Grin

All are speculative ones and i dont see for Bitcoin be worthy to be compared on stocks when it comes to volatility. Each crypto
do have the chance to beat out a traditional stock when it comes to price increase but come to think it would same goes with price dumps too.

Notice this article is from a crypto news site, which obviously has a bias toward showing bitcoin in the best light.
It works both ways though. Last year it were the non crypto news outlets that were bragging about how legacy assets outperforming Bitcoin. It also gave them a lot of ammo to trash Bitcoin's currency and store of value aspect, because what currency and store of value tanks with +80% in such a short period of time? They referred to it as a bubble, and it actually was at that point.

For some reason, we haven't seen such reports in 2017 when BTC made almost x10 during a year and no one compared it to dow or any other stocks.
I have seen plenty. It was also put against Gold's troy ounce value when Bitcoin went over the $1000 level in 2017. First it was worth as much as a troy ounce of Gold, then twice as much, etc. News outlets were really milking these events at that point. We also had a period where Bitcoin's market cap was put against that of PayPal, MasterCard, Visa, etc. There was no shortage of Bitcoin vs legacy asset reports.
