Feel free to insult me or whoever you want

Also, thank you for proving my point that this site is not professional in the least. You really expect me to believe people pay you 1400 dollars for this? That's really incredible. Also, please tell me which administrator condones you insulting people over the internet AKA trolling? Was it Badbear or Theymos?

Okay then.
Can you try to shorten that please? I have places to go so I do not have time to read all of that. Also people refrain from quoting me in snippets so to say. Just quote my entire post.

Read that last part. My thread isn't in the wrong forum. Plus, I make plenty of threads in Meta. I don't need more clogging up the front page.

As for me blocking your pm's, who wouldn't block them after the way you disrespected me? Who can take anything you say seriously?

I gave your a tl;dr at the bottom, so read it. I'm really not going to reply to a whole block of text as one as it's messy and hard to read. I really don't care whether you have blocked my messages or whether you ignore my posts (that lasted long) but you might miss out on some info that is relevant to you, but whatever. This is the last I have to say on the topic and I suggest you follow suit and move on.

Also, I'll take you getting paid that much money is a complete 100% allegation, since you've posted no proof. There's also no proof that you're lying, so yes. A 100% allegation.

I don't have to prove anything to you but you can assume I'm lying and I get paid zero if it makes you feel any better, but again, irrelevant to the discussion at hand so please just move on.
Also, if you cannot prove anyone reported my threads to be moved, again 100% allegation.

I really don't understand who keeps moving my thread to project development, but it can be in either project development or Bitcoin discussion so whoever is moving my topics to a forum that isn't really 100% occupied, stop and leave my thread in this forum, please.

Or how about you stop moving it into the incorrect sub just because it's more popular? That's not how things work around here.

But you insulting me and accusing me of being flashes is how things work around here?

You being insulted or 'being flashes' (whatever that means) is irrelevant to what sub a thread belongs in but insults aren't against the rules. Feel free to insult me or whoever you want. Not everyone is a child around here and starts crying when things don't go their way or someone says something they don't like.

This thread can be in either project development or Bitcoin discussion.

No, this is about your own personal (supposed) Project in Development so it belongs there. You yourself accept it should be in Project Dev so it either does or doesn't belong in there (and I'm telling you it does as did the other mod I consulted with) but you only want it in the main sub to get more attention, much like Codishmumu did. You both seem to like creating threads that only serve as self-promotion for whatever crap you're dreaming up. Once your project is actually happening feel free to make a thread in Service Announcements but knowing you you would post it in Bitcoin Discussion then cry when it gets moved away.

I am discussing the progression of Bitcoin, by having a lively discussion of how we can create more effective ways of broadening Bitcoin. Codishmumu came up with effective ways of advertisement, but you banned her because she wasn't getting offended by you and your DT group ganging up on her. When you provoke someone, do not be shocked when they retaliate. You don't get to pick the reactions your receive for calling someone out so if you have a problem with someone, why should that be their issue? My other business partner said the same comment.

No, you're discussing your own (and vague) personal vanity project that is in development and one that will probably only ever exist in your fantasy mind (though feel free to prove me wrong). And you know full well what Codishmumu was banned for but that doesn't suit your narrative. She got banned after repeatedly breaking the rules and not listening to warnings, which is much what you're doing now. The only reason you are doing this is so you can troll yourself into a ban then complain about 'mods abusing their power' whilst you feel like a martyr.

No response? If I get no response, I'm moving this back to the Bitcoin forum, where it belongs so you have ten minutes to defend yourself.

As I said, it can be in either project development or Bitcoin discussion. Don't abuse your power just because you and I have personal issues. That's extremely unprofessional, which proves my point that a Bitcoin forum should be ran by more professional people.

You can keep moving it back all you want but the mods aren't here to play thread ping-pong with you and if you continue it'll only cause you to get banned, so take that as your warning. If/when that does happen of course it wont be for you repeatedly breaking the rules it'll be because I have a "personal issue" with you which is just another excuse you like to whine about. It's not an abuse of power for me to move a thread into the correct section. I suppose the people who reported it to be moved there have a beef with you too, right? No. Do you really think I saw this thread and thought Ah, I know how I can get one over of TheGreek by moving his thread into the correct section? How would I even know that would annoy you? I didn't, but it seems like this is more you having a problem with me than vice versa and you really need to get over it.

You do not get paid to do what you do, so you will probably not take your volunteer work as seriously as my paid employees would for my hopefully upcoming new Bitcoin forum.

Lol, that's the funniest thing you've said in a while and only proves your delusion. 1) I don't do this for the pay and it's just an added bonus but I doubt you'll ever be able to pay your employees anything more than dust and certainly no where near the $1400 I got paid last month and 2) I very much doubt any of your projects will ever come to fruitition, but as above, feel free to prove me wrong.

Tl;dr You really need to stop thinking everyone is out to get you, get over yourself, and stop repeatedly moving things into the incorrect section (and making off topic posts to have a whine). If you have an issue with the moderation here open a thread in Meta because this is completely off topic (I tried PMing you this but you've blocked my PMs).

Hey everyone. I have multiple projects, multiple jobs that I'm doing and helping with but to be completely honest, these projects are not ran by me. You people might think I am the one that comes up with these ideas, but I'm not. I think I said I created them in the OP, but what I meant to say was that I helped create them. All I am is the coder to their upcoming websites. Nothing more. I don't really consider myself as nothing important so I like to think of myself as a person that's vital to their work, but I do feel as though what happens with these projects or what directions they take honestly depends on the founders for them. I have no stern say in what happens. I am not a founder to any of the four businesses I work with. If you guys want to ask the actual founders some questions, they will actually be present here soon before their own websites are launched.

Also, I really don't understand who keeps moving my thread to project development, but it can be in either project development or Bitcoin discussion so whoever is moving my topics to a forum that isn't really 100% occupied, stop and leave my thread in this forum, please.

Math and Bitcoin is like bread and butter, it has to go together... So this project, if properly funded... would go a long way. If I may ask.... how are you going to fund this project?

I think the developing countries needs this more than the wizz kids in the developed countries. How about you extending this to a math challenge for people from developing

countries too? It would make a massive difference... Do not give them fish, rather teach them how to fish... right?

the OP always is a bit vague about his projects.. its like he throws them at a wall like spaghetti to see which one sticks.. but seeing as it will be a website and anyone in the world can set up a bitcoin address for free.. there would be no limitations on which country uses it after all the prizes would be bitcoins not dollars. Cheesy

the only time you need to worry about someone winning the prize too often. is if the math is too simple.
so if you made sure the math is the near impossible to solve then universities would love to sponsor anyone who solves it.. after all they would see it as a nice cheap way of head hunting 'talent scouting' geniuses..

so if one kid solved 2 near impossible math problems.. i think he deserves both prizes as the odds of it happening are very remote.

so worry less on just making random easy to solve math problems as you will suddenly have thousands of people solving the same problem and then have the headache of choosing the ultimate winner out of a pool of thousands(causing alot of drama and discouragement for those that didnt win, even if they had the solution).. instead stick to near impossible math problems and then you'll have less of a headache and also be able to generate some nice sponsorship funds to use as a prize.

after all no university would pay anything for solving 1+1...

think more "good will hunting" rather than a 'spelling bee'.

you could however as a subsiduary/extra service. have more of a easier 'spelling bee' idea as a faucet esq service. offering 0.00000100 per solution. that way it keeps the math geeks busy playing on your website when bored and keeping the attention and repeat viewing going..
thus avoiding many people just looking at your site once and forgetting about it telling friends its not worth it due to complexity.

That's what I was thinking of by the time I got to the second post of this thread (yet to read further than quoted above).

I envision: Khan Academy + Faucet + Ads (that the player/learner would be most interested in) = Profit [for all].

It's a nice project actually, however you will encounter some problems of your own like how are you going to give the prize, problems on tx speed and whatnot (as already stated by posters above me.) Btw, if possible, can you at least give one example of problem that you might be giving your prospective members? That is if possible.

Wishing you the best on this project.

I don't think that you have to worry about someone winning the prize too often. If they win it multiple times, it means that they deserve it, it means that they are smart enough to keep solving them. Also, you could just make the questions harder and harder for that 1 person.

This seems like a very cool and interesting project. I think it is great that you are starting to incorporate children into Bitcoin, they need to start learning about the currency of the future and this is a great way to do it. Hope this works, also, when are you starting it?

Interesting.

Paul Erdős would have loved something like this.

And I agree that funding is the key.

And which math problems do you have in mind? Problems like the Millennium Problems? Are you focusing more on applied or pure mathematics?
Both. We are also hoping that somewhere along the way, we team up with as many intelligent minds as possible to create brand new technological concepts in mathematics to help re-innovate Bitcoin to the point that new ways of making Bitcoin transactions will be established.

I would hope that wouldn't exactly help the black market specifically.

Great, hope you guys can solve the transaction speed problem.
We'll do our best.
If by 'transaction speed' you mean  confirmation time then I thought it is security parameter and it cannot be lowered without compromising bitcoin network.
Confirmation times could be lowered already but it means more power will be in hands of large centralized mining farms.

I would think he is talking about something like this: https://projecteuler.net/

But with Bitcoin prizes at the end of each problem.

The difficulty would be ensuring that it is a new person solving the problems and being rewarded otherwise someone just keeps solving the problems over and over getting the bitcoins. And it would likely go to math geeks who already know the math.
Indeed. I wouldn't mind paying a young mathematician in bitcoins to stay sharp in his or her skills. Math holds a dear place in my heart, and I would like it if everyone had a fair opportunity to earn and people who have already earned will not be able to earn again. With that in mind, my idea is still very much in beta. I am doing everything I can to make sure the group is fair, but as of now I have several other business ventures so it's just tedious to juggle all of them.
