Yeah, this topic appears too often.  Not sure why anyone would want their business associated with a ratings or listing site with that title, or at least why the site wouldn't have more information about each company, to kind of back that 'better' part of the business bureau.   What is it that makes these products or services better?

I figure that features these sites have http://bitcoindirectory.net/ and http://www.thebitcoinlist.com/ should be included

Be like the real BBB and have fake rules posted regarding standards http://www.bbb.org/us/Business-Accreditation/ but in the background take money from all companies

Good luck.

Since my reputation is on the line, I will be putting a lot of consideration into whether a site deserves to make the list.

Thank you for putting Bitcoinica into the list!

And it's categorized under "Services" instead of "Exchange", a very clever choice. (So that it won't confuse newbies.)

The more difficult decision was deciding whether https://www.get-bitcoin.com/ was an exchange or a merchant.  I figured since the Bitcoins were only flowing in one direction, it was a merchant.  Thoughts??  I could be wrong.

It should be a service, because they grab the prices from elsewhere.

But they are selling a product (Bitcoins) for a profit.  That is why I'm leaning towards merchant.

They are a merchant in the context of real world trade - selling Bitcoins for profit.

However, they are a service in the context of "Bitcoin Business" - helping people obtain Bitcoins.

So, strictly speaking, a Bitcoin Business Merchant should sell something for Bitcoins.

I agree with your logic - they are not a Bitcoin merchant.  However, by the same logic, they are not a Bitcoin service, as they do not accept Bitcoins.  Perhaps "exchange" is the best spot for them, after all, as they deal in trading Bitcoins for fiat currency; even if it is in one direction, it is still an "exchange" of currencies.

If you decide to add gambling sites I'd love to be on the list! I've been operating for quite some time now, with no real complaints. Thank you.

Okay, I capitulated.  There is now a gambling section with the more reputable sites listed.

Unfortunately I will not be adding gambling sites at this time.  That being said, I definitely vouch for your good reputation!
