I think that is just a fraud. And its misleading anybody who ever tries to play on that platform, he's certainly one of the biggest loser in the gambling indistry that's why he claims sportsbet.io is scamming.
Though if the accusations were true then it shouldnt be just him whining for the scam issues. And for most, sportsbet will definitely be closed and blocked here

We regularly read other forums in order to find irregularities and accusations of scams aimed at other bitcoin sportsbook, poker rooms and casinos. Recently we came across this disturbing thread of a SportsBet.io customer who had 21.5 BTC stolen from him by SportsBet.io. The poster deposited 15 BTC at SportsBet.io and won an additional 6.5 BTC but when he tried to withdraw his account was suspended and they demand he go though a KYC/AML procedure. After supplying the KYC documents, they shut his account and kept both the 15 BTC and the 6.5 BTC he won.

A representative from SportsBet.io confirmed that "Regardless the nature of Bitcoin payments as a regulated operator we are obliged to ID verification, KYC and AML (anti-money laundering) procedures by the regulator at certain withdrawal levels."

How many people actually go though the Terms & Conditions when they sign-up with crypto currency at gambling sites? The expectation is that you will be allowed to remain anonymous at bitcoin-only sportsbooks and will not have to go though a KYC and AML procedure.

If bitcoin gambling operators require KYC/AML, we think they should be upfront and tell players before they deposit. For this reason, we are warning our readers that SportsBet.io is a "Possible Scam"

 Shocked
reading this, I'm not so confident anymore with that service, well, I did not won such big amounts, my deposits and withdrawals were small and I was never asked for a KYC, but if this is the practice for bigger amounts, is not good

i personally have no experience of online betting on bitcoin. but i think there are a lot of website by using which you can do online gambling using bitcoin. i have so many friends who know about this because they do it regularly.
i suggest you should play in sports. Sports betting is so popular until now because it can give you a great time while watching your team played online. The best things is when you are betting on that team you can feel the real thrill.

However, gambling is not only limited in sports because we also have the most popular dice.
If you're into sports you should try sports betting, there's some site that accepts bitcoin, like vodds this site is much more focus on football, tennis and basketball, also they will give you a demo account for you to try them first before engaging into your real account.
Haven't heard about vodds before , does it support BTC?

I love sports betting and I always bet at sportsbet.io . No problems so far.

Do not use sportsbet.io! They will claim you are using their site for mixing and steal your money!

Just some background. I am normally on nitrogensports or cloudbet for sports betting and coinroyale or fortunejack for the card games. Sometimes, I like to try other sites to test see what else is out there. Don't get me wrong, nitrogensports and cloudbet are great sites, but its good to try out other casinos to see what else is out there. Over a week ago, I thought I'd give sportsbet.io a try to expand my options, so I sent about 1.2 btc over from a couple of accounts and placed a couple of bets. It was fine, but it wasn't as user friendly as either nitrogen or cloudbet, the user interface isn't as nice, and I wasn't used to betting in mBTC. I decided to keep around .35 btc in my sportsbet.io wallet and withdraw .85 btc to my nitrogensports account to play there. Like I said, I just wanted to expand my options a little I still planned on keeping the .35 btc because they have some nice things about it and they may improve in the future. Nitrogen and cloudbet are still my primary casinos, but I thought I'd leave the door open for this one like I did for others.

After submitting a withdrawl of .85, I recieved a message saying "Wagering requirement of at least 5 (five) times the deposit amount before making a withdrawal." I though this had to be some sort of mistake because I have never experience anything like this on any bitcoin gambling site I used in the past and I've used many different sites over the past 9 month. It made no sense to me that I had to spend more than my initial deposit in order to withdraw, let alone 5x the amount. I contacted sportbet.io support through the chat and the agent told me that I that they'd look into it and eventually accused me of using the site as a mixer, which was the reason for the withdrawl being declined. She told me that I would be recieving an email from their security department with instructions on how I could get my money back. I did not recieved the email after the first day, so I logged back on to see what is going on. I chatted with another person who said that the email was sent and they would send another. Again, I would recieve no email. I even sent them an email, but they claimed they did not recieve it but they said give it time. A week later, I go to check my account and there still is no email. I returned to the site to see what is going on after not recieving any message from them and the person I chatted with insisted it was sent even though I did not get a message. They kept telling me to respond to this phantom email and told me they couldn't discuss the matter over the chat because it is insecure. Eventually, they pasted the contents of this supposed email to the chat and told me to follow the instructions on it. Basically, they wanted all of my personal information and would not let me withdraw my money until they got all of it.

Sportsbet.io wanted me to give them my IP address, a picture of my drivers lisense (front and back), and a bill with my name and address on it. Now, I've had my personal information stolen before and it was fucking hell to deal with. I will be damned if I give up all of that information to some online casino I know nothing about and has no way of being accounted for. I will not give that information up so my identity can be stolen again and sold online to god knows who. The funny thing is that I asked the support person for their personal information and the physical location of their company and security department, but they would not even tell me that. It is NOT Curacao as stated on their site. And they would not even tell me what country because of "security issues". They are probably in EU, middle east or southeast asia. They kept pressing me for my personal information and I refuse because I don't know what they intend to do with it because I don't know who they are and there is no way for me to trust them because there is no accountability. How can I trust a company with my personal information if they will not even tell me what country they are located in? They refuse to tell me and they refuse to elaborate on why it would be such a security risk. I would lose more time and money if my identity were stolen than the 1.2 btc they've essentially stolen from me. I make plenty of money so I can absorb that loss. This message is for those who can't and a warning to big gamblers out there. STAY AWAY FROM SPORTSBET.IO. Fuck them if they think I'm stupid enough to give them all that personal information. Bitcoin is supposed to be anonymous and so is gambling with bitcoin. Stick to an online casino that respects that and STAY AWAY FROM SPORTSBET.IO.

Nitrogen sports used to be the most popular here. Now I guess Sportsbet.io has overtaken the race and is the most trusted now. Cloudbet was a bit shady in the past but got good reviews nowadays.

A problem with sportsbet.io is that their margins are unplayable. They have the highest hold of all sportsbooks. The other problem that they are having is with KYC.
What KYC, I have an account with the site and I am not required to comply with the KYC.
Been betting on sports for awhile using the site and had no issues so far, I don't know, but can you please specify about the KYC you are talking?

There are so many choices of casinos to choose from.
If you want to find the best one for you, send a few bucks to each casino.
If you find faults in some and pros in others, you can spend less than 1 hour to find the correct casino and sportsbook for your needs.
It is different for each person. Some like better odds and some like faster service.
As mentioned in the quote we've got lot and lots of choices infront of us. Gambling being one of the industry contributing to the circulation and evolution of more new cryptocurrencies has developed more gambling opportunities. It is ours decision to find the one that provides with the trust and the legitimacy in the gameplay. Right now I suggest you to try stake.com which has been developed to provide with a varied experience.

There are so many to choose from.
I suggest going to the gambling threads and search there. |H|ere you willget the same answer over and over again endlessly. While you can just get your answer by simply searching for yourself in gambling section. This is a bitcoin forum after all Roll Eyes so all that you will see there are bitcoin related casinos.

I would also suggest to lock this thread.
Thanks for caring  Wink

Why lock this thread? Op asked a simple question and you recommend locking this thread? How silly. No need to act so dramatic buddy. Coming to the question posted by op, I feel that you need to do your own research since there are tons to choose from. In my opinion, bitcoinrush is one of my favorites along with bitcoin primarily due to their superb ratings. I like the user interface of that website too and its easy to understand the mechanics of that website for a beginner. Do your research op.

Are you trying to promote sportbet.io here? Because I often see their issues especially about the withdrawal issues, many players always complaining about the withdrawal issues and yet you are giving A rating for them. Does not make sense about the speciality of sportbet.io, not even their odds and not about their promotion either

No, I am not trying to promote them, is just my own opinion after my experience on that betting platform
Cause I have got no issues at all, this is why they are, for me, A rated

List of TOP 20 Sportsbooks that accept Bitcoin you can find here: http://100bookies.com/sportsbooks-that-accept-bitcoin-eng/

Interesting list
Those rankings, are based on how many votes?

Only one rating is based on the number of votes: http://100bookies.com/sort-by-votes-eng/
Other ratings are based on a combination of expert appraisal from the best in the betting business and in-depth web analytics from Alexa.com data.
But is this updated? I believe this review was created on 2017, how about in 2018?
Like for example, based on my experience, this 2018 sportsbet.io have come up really strong with major improvements, but it's only C+ rated, I think it should be at least B+ like Nitrogen, and Cloudbet should be in C.

This is just my opinion based on my experience.

For me sportbet.io is A rated :-) and no need to look at other comments, cause I have my own extra positive experience

I don't think he is promoting it, he was just sharing his opinion about the ranking based on his experience just like I did.
Regarding that issue you've mentioned above, I learned that they have an scam accusation here https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.18527694 which was still unresolved until now, even one of the DT members Lutpin negged their Official bitcointalk account https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=832366 as the amount involve is a decent amount which is  21.5 BTC  per OP.

I hope those issues will be resolve for them to officially be uplifted, we have a big community here, it will affect their reputation for sure.

Hello, i'm looking for a site where i can gamble my Bitcoins.

Any suggestions??   Huh

The best advice is stay away from betking.io because it is a scam website operated by a well known scammer called Dean Nolan

There are lots of problems with that website and that man (probably psychological) so please keep away from betking.io and anything that scammer Dean Nolan is involved in.
