You can't consider the market that makes or break the price to be decentralized when price discovery happens on centralized spot exchanges.
Volatility is just a side effect of very poor liquidity. If there was no volatility people wouldn't have the massive up swings they so much like. Bitcoin has done the same thing for over a decade without much improvement in terms of noticeably lower volatility. With that in mind, how likely do you think it is that Bitcoin will show similar market behavior in the next 5-10 years? I think it's very likely.
