Where is my ring of blades...
what the Bitcoin experts say !! the BTC course at the football world championship will rise. If so, how many dollars?
My guess is $9800 until the final.  Grin Grin

It is very possible to happen because the influence of FIFA WORLD CUP 2018 will increase the use of Bitcoin, it can be said that gambling is an aspect that will affect the increased volume of Bitcoin transactions. That's because more and more people are interested in using online gambling, an easy thing to do and Bitcoin makes it easy for gamblers to do various deals in their gambling game.

there is two things wrong with this speculation.
first is the fact that the World Cup has already begun and we have not seen any change in bitcoin price that can be noticeable enough so that we can associate it with this and say this speculation was right.
second is the fact that there are a lot of ways to gamble on these games that are more legal. the problem is online gambling is illegal in many countries and people are used to normal ways of doing it with fiat which are also legal. if they want to use bitcoin they also have to gamble illegally in many jurisdictions and also go through the hassle of buying bitcoin which is signing up on an exchange, verifying account, installing a wallet, learning how to use bitcoin,.... so they won't do it!

Let's see how that is going to go, but in a way it would be a good thing as we will get to see a good real life usage for it and in that case might see some pretty good demand for it and most especially for foreigners coming into the country. Let's see how the betting thing is going to end up though, as it is still too early to start judging how that would tend to play a huge effect on the price of bitcoin.

what the Bitcoin experts say !!

nothing, they say absolutely nothing, because they would have nothing to say

the BTC course at the football world championship will rise. If so, how many dollars?

People went to watch the games, how would this increase the price of bitcoin? there is no bitcoin debit card available for people to use, so not even bitcoin will not have a big impact as a means of payments in the football world championship

My guess is $9800 until the final.  Grin Grin

I doubt very much that you will get this price.

if bitcoin had a partnership or spornsors the world cup event then the price could probably skyrocket because people will be more aware about bitcoins existence

but if bitcoin dont have any connections to the soccer event then the price could still remain stagnant for weeks even months and so on.but we shouldnt loose our faith at all because bitcoin wont fail us. Bitcoin is already proven and tested to deliver a good result , if only given an adequate time.

Personally, I don't think the world cup will have any significant event in terms of getting bitcoin's word out and possibly bumping up the price. There had been many important events in which bitcoin was connected to but there were no drastic change in the price even after the event concluded. Having said that, visitors in Russia would probably go and just watch the football and not care about buying stuff with bitcoin since it's not what they came for in the first place. Though that might sound disheartening, I still want to see such publicity to have some real world effects in bitcoin, not in price alone but also in terms of awareness that such a thing exists.

I hope it will rise but I do not see any good reason  for it, the world cup is an event and to have any impact on BTC price someone need to take advantage of this event, saying it will rise just because Russia is not against BTC is not enough or even a good reason .

What co-relation does FIFA has with Bitcoin?

The Russia legalizing Bitcoin can be taken as a good news which might bring a short term pump which is not really expected in this market situation. But I don't think FIFA has anything to do with it. FIFA might increase the revenue of betting sites. There are countries where betting is ban. In such countries, cyptocurrencies might be used for betting and this can have some minimal effect. But nothing to a level that it can take price to $9800.

I will go for the price of $9000, and that is, if it will ever rise so quickly. The world cup is on and the price of bitcoin may rise as a result of purchasing from those who might want to use them for betting or gambling. But I am still on the doubt if it will happen. Probably, also, the price may rise to the price of $7000 but I am seriously hoping it reaches to $9000. But let's not be too sure of this prediction. There is a likehood that it may not happen.

I don't think the is a co relation with World cup football and Bitcoin price. There might be a change in price but not as expected by you. The price of Bitcoin will rise or fall based on many reasons like demand and supply and I don't think World cup football will create that much demand. If demand is not as expected then supply also will be stagnant.

I do not see any connection between bitcoin and the 2018 world Cup in Russia. The price of bitcoin will not change. Popularity will not become more. Russia is not a country that welcomes the spread of bitcoin. In order for bitcoin to get a new impetus to popularity, it is necessary that large trading platforms begin to accept it for payment.
Nice one as that would really generate some media attention a lot and simply would create some huge awareness since this is a global thing. One way to go. It would have actually been swift if such a thing were to happen in Japan. If some bitcoin whales think about promoting bitcoins in such a world event then that would definitely help bitcoin to get promoted to many new people which may even end up bitcoin being adopted by them.

Still, I feel it is too early to start thinking how the betting/sport book thing will have an effect in Russia, but I do not think it would have that much huge effect either looking at the fact that Russia does not simply stand on any ground when it comes to cryptocurrency.

Well, if people offer products for BTC and accept BTC for services, we will see a bull run. I don't think Russia is against BTC or crypto in general as much as other govt. like India or China.

Also, the whole sportsbook and anonymous betting can be easily done through BTC so thats a plus.

no Russia is not against bitcoin at all but they are not exactly for it either. if it was Japan then there was a very different story there. we could have seen a huge rise because of the thousands of merchants that are already accepting bitcoin payments there. but in Russia we don't have the same thing.

the betting thing was interesting although i do not think it can affect the price.

We just had winter Olympics in South Korea that is very favorable of Bitcoin same as Japan. I expected lots would happen but it did not and was total disappointment to me. I guess we will have to wait for after next bubble games, so in Beijing 2022 or summer Olympics in Tokio 2020 or 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Maybe they will start awarding Bitcoin medal instead of Gold, since Bitcoin is digital Gold Tongue

Maybe it can contribute a little IMO. If the Bitcoin community make some friendly gambling and if the big whales will get to involved then probably we can see some price movement.

will not increase that much, in my opinion will only reach $ 8k.
I hope it really happened to raise the bitcoin price, but I'm not sure about the news yet  Tongue

I see little to no correlation between the world cup and bitcoin, if anything I would say a slight negative correlation but it would be ineligible, that would be because some people may be spending on the world cup money that they would otherwise invest. Your prediction could come true but not because of the world cup. Unless you know something we all do not.

Haha who said that? No, I couldn't see any correlation between Bitcoin price and World Cup at all. What explanation do you have in mind?

The final will be a month from now. A lot of price action could take place within a month, so yes, a rise could potentially happen especially after a fall like this but it'll have nothing to do with the World Cup.

Whoever is going to world cup matches, be sure to bring signs and boards with 'buy bitcoin' written on them.

The acceptance of Bitcoin is rising and rising, even despite the current price weakness. Another indication is the offer of many hotels in the Russian Kaliningrad. There they declared that they would accept Bitcoin as a means of payment during the 2018 World Cup. Kaliningrad is one of the venues for the 2018 FIFA World Cup. Four games will be held in the Kaliningrad stadium, with the match between Belgium and England, two favorites in the tournament, the highlight.

That’s a good idea, a small work for each of us will truly help spreading bitcoin word to the world. I can’t be at that place to do it by my own, so basically will wait for someone to volunteer. Bitcoin betting can penetrate in this tournament, but need to have a much trusted company to do this job and announced it in advance. There is still time.
