Yes it is true that Bitcoin has brought us true freedom of worries. People had to go to their bank for transactions before, even a lot of trouble was created and now everyone can make transactions easily because Bitcoin came. Now in most countries they transact through Bitcoin. So I think Bitcoin brought us freedom of worries.
Bitcoin is indeed giving us the freedom to manage our funds. Still, we need to have more patience and wait until our government allows the local store to accept bitcoin or crypto as their payment option because only some countries already allow that thing. Until that time comes, we can hold our bitcoin while we can also accumulate more bitcoin that we have to be ready to use bitcoin or other coins to pay something.

The era of traditional payment will change into digital payment, and in this pandemic, people are more suggestible to use digital money to pay their transactions in the local store. And there will be a time for a crypto to be used for the next payment method soon.

It is very nice to have freedom of thought. But freedom of thought is just the first step. I think it is easy to have it. I can think of anything in my mind, even the most radical of things. But then what am I to do with these thoughts when the society around me is not open to it?

This is the same with Bitcoin. It is a great technology. We have so much vision with it. We are imagining the future world with it being the main currency. But if we get out of our minds and look at the reality, Bitcoin still has a way to go in terms of being accepted as it is.

Our freedom of thought does not translate to freedom of action. And this is where we should all be focusing. We should all be free to use Bitcoin in the open.

Yes, freedom of thought is only the first step. Only when we first liberate our minds can we free our hearts. Accompany Bitcoin to create unlimited possibilities.

Yes, and Bitcoin has somewhat liberated our minds already. In fact, even simply knowing the fact that we already have something in real life that could somehow liberate us also from the financial fetters of central banks and commercial banks is already empowering enough. So our minds are somehow already at ease with what we are going to replace the existing system with. We could now move on to translate our thoughts into changing our lives outside our minds.

I think that in the past few years or so, people have deviated from the intended use of bitcoin and what truly it stands for and why it was originally created, and i think that a large portion of the user base only view it as an investment and way to make money and to profit from, and they really don't care about the fact that it changes a lot of systems that have gotten more and more corrupt over the years, and it really gives the power back to the people, and that is the idea that people should really take in consideration when investing in bitcoin in order for it to succeed.

This is a process that must be experienced in the development of Bitcoin. Most people now come to buy Bitcoin, not because they have seen its tremendous changes to human beings, but because they just want to make money through it. However, when more and more people participate, it will continue to push up the consensus of Bitcoin. What is really crucial is that a group of people who truly recognize Bitcoin are required to preach to Bitcoin and to promote the deep thinking of Bitcoin.

It is very nice to have freedom of thought. But freedom of thought is just the first step. I think it is easy to have it. I can think of anything in my mind, even the most radical of things. But then what am I to do with these thoughts when the society around me is not open to it?

Before the birth of Bitcoin, we never thought that private individuals could issue currency, nor did we think that digital currency could truly be used as a payment medium, let alone the rationality of the existence of legal currency. But when Bitcoin was born, everything changed.

Private money as a concept existed long before Bitcoin, I know that Hayek envisioned them, but maybe there are even earlier examples. And digital payments have existed long before Bitcoin too.

We began to doubt the monetary exploitation of us by government agencies. We began to think about the irrationality of various centralized financial institutions. We started fighting for our currency independence. We began to use Bitcoin to protect our wealth from inflation. We began to think about all kinds of injustices in society.

It didn't start with Bitcoin, ever since the fiat system was established, there were people who opposed it.

Bitcoin is in many ways revolutionary, but it's no the first in literally everything it does.

Thank you for pointing out the problem, your language is more accurate. What I want to express here is that Bitcoin has indeed created a currency recognized by the world in practical action, and it has been widely recognized and applied. Bitcoin has inspired our minds, let us free our thinking, and make all impossible possible.

The big banking institutions take people's money and take unnecessary risks with this money so as to maximize their profit... and when something goes wrong and they are about to fail, the government has to step in and bail them out because there are big time ramification for all sorts of people when these institutions go down. The major financial crashes are engineered into the monetary system and will keep happening by design. It is against this background that Satoshi created bitcoin to fee the world from the burden of these institutions at around the time of the last great financial crisis (2008.

And thus, we owe it to satoshi and all the people behind bitcoin whatever this industry is today and whatever it may become in the future. For everyone wants freedom(not just financial) ever since the dawn of time, a couple of brilliant minds like satoshi in various timelines in the history of man have made huge efforts and contributions so that we may come this far. If not because of these intelligent individuals, the world may not be as free as our world today. Which only makes it right for us to remember them and to pass their legacies on to the next genarations as appreciation and for the young to understand what it took mankind to be what it is today and what it will be in their time.

People have been very alarmed by central banks even before Bitcoin. It's just that Bitcoin was the first solution that actually gained enough traction for us to actually have a decentralized form of money without a messed-up monetary policy.

To add to the good points you raised that people already felt disappointed with banks, the numerous monetary policies by the government are not checked properly, making the people subsceptible to fraud, over charge in fees transaction. The banks used their system to charge indiscriminately over board against monetary regulations. You get alerts of different unwarranted charges and this got people to be fade up in the banking system. So people were already looking for escape before the advent of bitcoin.

Bitcoin is considered as a disruptor...now as to the extent it can be disrupting things we will be learning of that fully maybe in the next 10 years of its existence. By the 20th anniversary of Bitcoin, that would be the time we can closely examine the many things it is contributed to the society more specially on finance, banking and money. In other words, Bitcoin is like a Pandora box and once it is open there is no stopping the many repercussions it can be brining be it good or bad.
the good and bad impact of bitcoin proves that bitcoin was very influential when it was first created. Bitcoin is able to influence the existing economic system so far. in the 20th century bitcoin became a more modern and more revolutionary financial platform. no one can manage bitcoin, bitcoin is a decentralized platform. The development of cryptocurrency or Bitcoin is growing rapidly. More and more real influence nowadays. Bitcoin truly provides freedom and distinction from traditional economic systems.

Good view! Bitcoin indeed helped some people to overcome the dependency on government created financial ecosystem. But sadly, a very little percentage of people are concerned about the anonymity and security. People are just happy to invest in it through centralized exchanges and enjoy the rollercoaster ride thrown to them.
The time is changing and people are starting to be aware of how to secure their privacy. But it's not going to be an instant change in the whole world that most people would want to be totally anonymous but at least there's the start coming from bitcoin. And to those people that have started to invest on bitcoin, it is because they understand it that they are safer to buy it through cex.

For them, the value of bitcoin is only its price and nothing else!
This is the reality but I don't find it as a sad reality.

Individuals issuing currency is a huge risk. Anyone and everyone then will become a billionaire. It's good that crypto market usually rejects shit projects. For this reason we have tens of thousands of deadcoins in the market. Not ideal.

Heavy words it seems! But sadly, very minor percentage of bitcoin holders are concerned about security. Majority of them are investor with a hope of get rich quickly. Some bitcoin puritans still thinks for such liberation or freedom, but are unable to make much impact.

Most of the people adopted bitcoin for now. In the 20th century, their may be huge investors and traders in the field of bitcoin. So you can see any high value in bitcoin.Even we can see huge amount of investors on 20th century as compared to now. So it's quite enough to the rise in the price of bitcoin as compared to now.

Bitcoin didn't exist in the 20th century so there were no investors or traders in the field of bitcoin.

You are right, bitcoin takes power from the governments.

Just to note, that scrip was issued for millennia until the collectivist authoritarians (socialist, fascist, communist etc) found that they could use inflation to destroy countries and to have a hidden tax on everyone who was under their control.  It is the "progressive" (really regressive away from freedom) dream to have control of the products of every person in the world and fiat currencies help to enable that.  Once they had ended any type of peg to an asset, they ended up destroying things even more.  Look at Germany in the 1930s, Cuba, Venezuela, North Korea, China etc.

Even look at how much the British pound, the US dollar, the Euro, have lost in value over time.  Anyone who thinks that these people promising "free" stuff are really trying to help you, aren't paying attention.  They are manipulating people in order to get their votes to siphon away their wealth.

This "global minimum tax" is an anti-freedom, anti-competition, pro-monopoly policy in order to extract more money from people so that the power hungry politicians in government can take a cut for themselves in terms of money and power.

Corporations are only tax collectors, they don't actually pay taxes.  So all these "fair share" people are attempting to delude people through the politics of envy, and divide people through the politics of hate in order to conquer them.

I believe that thought is the most powerful tool of mankind, and it is the eternal source of our lives. It brings soul to the development of our entire society. Once social development deviates from the consensus of most people, new ideas will be born, guiding human civilization on the right track of development.

The birth of Bitcoin truly liberated my mind and broke the confinement of my mind. Make the impossible possible. I believe that the highest state of freedom is the freedom of thought, and the decentralized thinking brought about by Bitcoin infinitely magnifies this freedom.

We are free to post and exchange in bitcointalk today, which is to constantly clash of ideas. We have gained real growth in this collision.

This is my view on freedom of thought. What do you think?

A very well written post. I do believe that what you are referring to is something that everyone can relate with. People did not have any option before bitcoins and after it's creation they get to decide what they do with their own money. Banks are a much needed asset but they do not have any scope of further growth. Plus with all the rules and the manipulations, it's getting harder for people to trust on them, yet alone invest. At the same time their credibility have taken the biggest hit during the pandemic. We are seeing the collapse of world's biggest economies and bitcoins might be the only way out if the situation becomes dire.

It just showed that everything that had happened before BTC could be manipulated, especially when bubbles were popping up and no transparency between transactions depending on the financial asset that is being hyped. What I like the most about BTC is that its transparency and no transactions to hide. That simple idea makes it even more valuable that we all need trust in the trustless system.

What I think about this "freedom of thought" you are talking about is what Bitcoin has enabled us to do, and it sprung so many projects that help us, humans, to propel even further. That's the best thing.
