I prefer freelance job because i dont want to use my funds. You dont need capital to do freelance job. You only have to do is the tqsk they want you to do. Trading is good too but im not expert at that thing and i dont have enough capital. Lending is too risky for me. You'll lose huge amount of money if your clients screw up. Selling stuffs is good but i dont have stuffs to sell.

Exactly, freelancing is best option when there is no other option available. One can earn good amount of money if he has right set of skills and the sense of using time more effectively. The best thing about freelancing is anyone can enter in it and start offering services, there is no capital required in terms of money but skills are must. One can learn and acquire various skills online without paying for it.

Yes. Freelancing is the best option you far. No risk involved just your skills and portfolio will match on what the clients need. But based on my experience, I think luck is also involved here like in my case for example, we are five in a team of freelancers, but the manager decided to give me the most profitable task of all and the other thing is they thought that the job was hard, but when I handled it, it was easy for me as compared to when I was part of the team. So I was thinking why the client gave me the job out of all of us? I estimate is that I got lucky to be choosen among the 5 team members.
to me i think trading alt coins is the best idea, but in present time as the price of bitcoin is continuously increasing therefore i think in present time the best option is to hold bitcoin for a long time and not invest it any where else.
Trading altcoin is always the best time because when the price of bitcoin is low then it means that the altcoin market is active so you can earn profits by doing a lot of trades especially day trading because for sure that the market is very volatile because the altcoins are very cheap and also the bitcoin. If the price of bitcoin is high like what is happening now then you can still do altcoin trading but you are more on investing because the price of bitcoin is high then it means that the price of altcoins are cheap because they just depend on the demand and also to bitcoin. So therefore, i think altcoin trading is always good to start.

Starting an exchange will be more beneficial but not everyone can start their own exchange because for that only paying to developers is not enough after paying to developers and getting the exchange site completed you will require to advertise it everywhere to get the members. So I am in the position that I start a blog or start to trade in bitcoin as I can pay for them only.

I am curious of your opinion about if you have to start a bitcoin business from scratch today. What is the type of business will your start, even if any of this type of business don't exists at the moment?

I know the typical business type on the market are :

  • Exchange
  • Blog
  • Lending
  • Trading
  • Selling stuff in bitcoin
  • Freelance job in bitcoin

I will either start by investing in mining equipment for a quicker ROI or I will just buy and hoard more bitcoins down because the price is bound to increase over time.

To become a successful freelancer you need to earn credibility. You have to work hard for many years to be chosen. Yes, from the enumerated by the author, this is the most unrisked profession.

I don't think bitcoin can be accepted only for specific business plans such as exchange, blog, lending, selling stuff and so on. People need to start accepting bitcoin into their own business unlike planning to start a new one. Hope this will support the same users to start learning about bitcoin and use it.

We already getting good view on bitcoin and block chain technology. Many MNCs already implementing the security policies was applied already in the blockchain firewall. If you need to start a business accepting bitcoin as payment means Best option is Ecommerce only. To promote it you can use any type of advertisement policy to make it fame around the laymen.

Me and uncle has a firm. It is a engineering services, I suggest to him about bitcoin and ask him to be open about it. Its a starting company and when the time comes that we have information technology software and computer engineers employes we are already open in cryptocurrency. What I mean is that we can involve cryptocurrency in business. If we believe in its potential we are going to accept it as a payment in the transactions that we made. In my opinion we dont need to start a bitcoin business, just to include it in our business is enough.
Freelancing, blogging, trading, etc. Is just a side effect of bitcoins potential and characteristics. Imagaine if many companies and firm are accepting it as a mode of payment. It will become well-known and maybe make the government to accept it as a value of exchange.

It still depends on the situation. When bitcoin becomes more popular, more online shops will start accepting it but offline stores will still be doubtful to implement or even try bitcoins. Unfortunately, no one's starting the move. It's like you're waiting for somebody that's also waiting for you. These companies or firms (whatever you call them) are just waiting for other companies to accept bitcoins. On the other end, they are also just waiting for others too.

You forgot to put bitcoin gambling in your list(not to gamble, but to build a casino, dice site...)

I have an idea about a brand new bitcoin gambling game and i will build a business around this idea.
Onless you are the owner of a gambling site, then gambling should be kept as far away as possible from a list of Bitcoin business ideas, because it is certainly not a business one can lean on. At best it is a form of entertainment and should always be treated as such to remain on the safer side.

Selling stuff using bitcoin as the payment is a good idea. Starting with digital goods and maybe add physical goods later on. Exchange is also a good idea but probably requires more capital and it's more complicated as you should consider the security, alt coin etc. Not a fan of lending because it's too risky. A freelance website is also good.

I think gambling and bitcoin betting can also be a business. It is full of development and business elements as a true business. So many people got rich from it, most people thought it was something bad, but I personally think another, its bad not come from the form, it comes from the way you use use it. People who gamble have no control over their emotions, so they often lose a lot of money, but there are some people who are self-employed, so they get rich by gambling.

It all depends upon the interest.  If you have enough bitcoins, then you can think of starting a ad network. The profit margin will be good. For first few months you may not get advertisers. But you should have enough funds to pay your publisher ,for the first few months. Otherwise it will affect the reputation of the network. Gradually you will get advertisers and after that you can make profit from that.

online education - The bitcoin market is a real market.  I'm pretty sure that you could build an economics and finance course around the bitcoin markets.

Bitcoin Big Data analytics, this is a very exciting field, look at what QuantaBytes or Coinalytics are doing

Innovate above and beyond the obvious: loyalty and rewards is borderline untouched at the moment due to the semi-anonymity of BTC, what about associating usernames to BTC address and offering rewards at selected retailers?

Right now selling stuff seems to be the better one. More merchants have started accepting bitcoin into business, which leads more people show interest on buying stuffs directly with bitcoin. If it doesn't give good profit now later on you'll experience big earnings.

For everything you mentioned here is looking good, but to set up those you need to back up some bitcoin before going to the public. Because if you don't plan perfectly, ultimately you need to scam the people. Today we have already seen many websites in online and becoming scam in a short period of time. So you need to ensure all possible ways to generate money for yourself to stay stable.

Exchange: I don't have the funds to make one.

Blog: What do you mean by this? Blogging about btc and earning btc from ads?

Trading: This I'm currently trying to learn. Still looks confusing to me but probably one of the better ways to earn with little capital.

Lending: Not in btc, that's too risky. I'd have no legal recourse if a debtor defaults. I'd rather just earn btc, convert it to fiat and then lend that.

Selling goods: Probably will start selling local first. I suppose selling online to an international market would be a bit more complicated.

Selling skills: Might not fare well here.

I would be careful with the obvious options such as an exchange or gambling platform. The market is quite saturated already, and it can become very costly to attract a large enough customer base to make a profit.

In addition, security is a major issue with this type of business. Just buying a template is likely going to cause you some troubles.

I think a great addition would be some kind of incorporation of contracts or land ownership on the blockchain. This way it would be indisputable what is in the contracts. The company can offer an encrypted message on the blockchain that they can decrypt so not all details are publicly visible.

For a person who has been here for a long time I cannot believe you are still into what the snake oil salesmen are selling. Everything that has been created with that kind of idea are turning out to be ponzi schemes.

Making an exchanger externals like  or build more ATM bitcoin. So peoples can easily spend their money everywhere.
Maybe the greatest idea is to make an online shop like Amazon that 100% all of the payment is using bitcoin.

I like the way it sounds bitcoin ATM. There are only a few bitcoin atms in the world, the most popular was in Las Vegas owned by the former Heavy Weight Boxing Champion Mike Tyson. You will earn big from the surecharges and transaction fees, its easy money and the most efficient one.

But for me I will try a local bitcoin banks, I will give loan in the form of bitcoin in our locality with interests of course. Then they will pay me in fiat currency. Then if I earn big I will open shops that accepts bitcoin like coffe shops restaurant that way it will feed my bitcoin business. Im not only earning from the transaction fees but I also earn from my products.
