If OP was able to make a decent profit out of the 100 USD that he has started off of, I think that OP is already careful about his investment, that kind of profit doesn't really scream recklessness so carelessness is definitely out of OP's mind and to you OP, I hope you're going to get more profit in the near future, no big losses may come to you and hopefully you'll enjoy your trading journey with even more profits.

But now is where the lessons are being applied. The longer you're holding bitcoin, the less worry that you'll get because this is how it goes when you've gained a lot of experience from the ups and downs of this highly volatile market.

The title of OP is very different from the body of the thread. I assume that OP was holding according to the title of thread. But the time frame mentioned by Op wouldn't increase his holding that much, maybe he traded at some points. But trading and making profits doesn't mean you have arrived. You need to show your results in a long term to be sure you are still winning.

You trade and get some profit there but it doesn't change my view on trading in the end.
Although in this case you should be applauded for being able to make a profit from the trading you do but the fact is that this cannot be done all the time and makes trading remain one of the riskier strategies compared to investing so such a view does not change forever because it still applies where investing is much better than trading.

Yes those who are trading or holding Bitcoin since last 5 months are really lucky and have a very good experience.  Because for the last 5 months Bitcoin is just pumping. and Bitcoin has already crossed the previous ATH. But no one can say yet how much the price new ATH of Bitcoin will be. And because of this, many people are still trading bitcoin and holding a lot. and many people who are able to do good analysis are making huge profits from futures trading taking advantage of Bitcoin price corrections. but i will not advice someone to do future trading because it has high risk. i will just suggest to buy and hold long term and enjoy the advantage of bitcoin

You are buying, holding, and at the same time trading that's why you x11 your money. Congratulations I guess because you're good enough to make profit in trading. TBH, Bitcoin's price already pumped up, and depending on the time you bought it, you already at least double or tripled your money. Nevertheless, buying Bitcoin and just holding it works every time, BUT only for those that has a long time horizon like those 20's, 30's or even 40's. Feel sorry for your friend that lost his money because of gambling. If only he did the same as you did after he earned a lot of money, he would've have more money than you are.

If there's one thing that I want to get addicted with, it's getting addicted to learning. That for sure will lead you to a "GUARANTEED" success.

Nice trades, holding cryptocurrency could really give you profit, but we should never ignore the risk on trading or investment.

It's not surprising that people overwhelmingly support the first option in the poll. If you look at the chart of Bitcoin price, it's clearly growing over time. So Bitcoin is a fairly reliable investment into the future.
I'm happy that the op was able to accumulate some BTC as well as gain some profit, considering how Bitcoin grew over the last few months. But, like others, I feel like trading is riskier than holding.

I basically never traded because of the maximum risk involved but the way you trade successfully is really incredible. Exactly! That's the key to bitcoin success or to earn, slowly but surely. Many new investors are being inpatient in their investment in bitcoin and wanting to see a profit right away and expecting to earn a lot in their early investment, but that's the case there. Your OP is one example of efficiently earning in bitcoin just by holding it or trading some with slowly and surely. In trade, it doesn't matter how small or big your profit will be; the important thing is that you are earning and not losing money. But if you can't trade efficiently, then it's better to do holdings, which is safer and easier to do, but of course should be done with caution or with care.
