Bitcoin cannot be hacked but some accounts or wallet can be hacked if we don't secure are all passwords. We should be aware of hackers because they are everywhere and wise is the key so that we can't be hack. Bitcoin is the answer in our all needs to sustain us.
For sure it is our responsibility to secure our wallets and not to share our password and key word with anyone.  If you are having fine information and knowledge about bitcoin you will not suffer hacking and will get safe and secure profit. There are a lot of wallets available in market easily you can have it and put all of bitcoin into it to avoid hacking and lose of money.

Bitcoins are a digital bearer asset.  That means that anyone who holds the secret key (a 256 bit random number) controls the bitcoins.  Hacking bitcoin, therefore, typically involves finding out a way to steal a user's secret key through technical means or by social engineering (i.e. fooling them into giving away the key).  To that extent, hacking a user's bitcoin account/wallet is not much different than hacking any other software platform.  The basics are similar.

In bitcoin we are all anonymous and no one can even know us. Unless we give our personal details or posted it here. Bitcoin is a digital cryptocurrency and can't even hacked at all because there's so many people's protecting it to hacked, but i know therw's a code that needs to know and only satoshi nakamoto know it. So probably there's no one can evem hacked because nakamoto isn't even active and no one knows her

I love the concept of Bitcoin. I believe the Internet will redefine currency as we know it.  I hope this helps the Bitcoin community to develop a currency that's really resilient to attacks.

But, is it possible?
yes it is.. some of the hacker can do it just simply spying your computer, beware of anonymous emails i am a one of the victim

We've already heard a lot about bitcoin hack history, after that it was often the misuse of people and not bitcoin itself.
Very grateful as long as I use bitcoin for 5 years I have never experienced hacking. yeah I think if somebody gets a bad things like bitcoin hacked. I think it's because of the problem on the users tself. you should add some security patches like authentication and bitcoin wallet support it

Definitely Bitcoin can be hacked. Anything that is on the digital network can be hacked and recently NiceHash, the largest Bitcoin mining marketplace has been hacked which resulted in the theft of more than 4700 Bitcoins worth over $57 million and the stolen bitcoin now is worth $70 million in less than 24 hours, so try to be safe and use low.

Of course it can be hacked. everything that is under digital networks and electronics and programming. It can be hacked and manipulated and worse it can be stolen and you would be left with an empty purse and a very aching heart.

The blockchain will be hacked. As companies and governments adopt it will be part of the usual quantam computing is already trying and some say it has been done.

The problem here is that 99% don't have a clue about what it is they're talking about,

IMHO the number of 'programmers' working to 'hack' bitcoin is 10to1 to the number of people just mining the art of 'hacking bitcoin' is a much more interesting problem than just 'mining'.

The 'hacking' of BITCOIN is an industry,

Last month I wrote an entire article here about how to 'hack bitcoin'

It's being done, the 'hack' of NICEHASH in past 24 hours ( $62Million USD) is a classic example aka 'mt-gox', happens all time and its ignored, ignored until its all gone.

I would not worry much, there are 2,000+ BTC clones, and one of them say zencash or monero will gladly fill its place if&when BTC gets easily hacked

Most likely problem is this sodom&gomorah/tower-of-babel problem like we have now 1,000's of blocks, and wallets in a sea of mis-communication, all be ran by common criminals ( nicehash/mt-gox, ... ) and their whores.

***

Problem with 'hacking bitcoin' is no two morons agrees, IMHO 'hacking' means programming, it means typing on  keyboard, thus ALL misdirection of BTC is hacking,

There is wallet snatch&crack, there is keyboard sniffing ( russian porn industry ), there is brute-force private-address ( brainflayer ), there are algo's for all mined coins to go after different dimensions of 'hacking btc', I would suspect a ten volume set of books could be written on the subject, trouble it would be out of date if not completed within a month Sad

For now most interesting of areas of BTC-HACKING IMHO are attacking private keys owned by high-value accounts, that's where the money is, that's where the real work effort goes by the pro's.

Almost all these high-profile rip-offs like mt-gox or nicehash are 'inside jobs', so not 3rd party hacking, but guy in mom's basement, but more likely just a normal in-house 'worker' getting his share before their PONZI collapses.

BLOCKCHAIN technology is here to stay

PRIVACY is probably most important issue, completely ignored by everybody associated with BTC, who clearly just care about MONEY, and don't give a shit about crypto-anarchy. Sad

Satoshi would PUKE on what has become of Bitcoin.

Satoshi is dead or in prison, as dead men tell no tales.

Today 'Bitcoin' is just an amalgamation of morons and criminals, say the recent "BITCOIN GOLD LAUNCH" BTG by Russian/Chinese mafia, that's the essential element of todays BITCOIN WORLD.

maybe. blockchain is a remarkable system development. KYC has also been developed to control every transaction made using bitcoin. I am sure the digital money security system will continue to increase, so that it will no doubt or no longer be a tool of crime.

Bitcoin is theoretically vulnerable to hacking. Because its code is open source, programmers continuously review it for flaws. This means the underlying protocol is pretty robust.
of course the security system used by bitcoin will inevitably continue to update so strong and can not be penetrated by hackers. and I am sure the security system that is provided will still give us a sense of security even if at any time. hope that all bitcoin users still get a sense of security

anything can be hacked and bitcoin will be last thing hacked .

bitcoin have strong security which make it better than Google, Government, FBI , NASA
I agree that everything can be hacked and, unfortunately, bitcoin doesn't have such a good defense as you say
