Like many innovation, the innovation of bitcoin can be become old when some more innovating thing is happening. But it won't be an altcoin i think. Because bitcoin got a very good head start if you compare it to many altcoins. it would be something totally new.

Yes and I don't think any altcoin can replace bitcoin in future as it doesn't hold multiple features like bitcoin, it can get disappear only if people stop using but that is unlikely to happen.

Can the panic do so that bitcoin disappears? I ask myself this question lately and I think that the answer is "yes".

Panic can't do anything other than making people dumping their coins. It's actually very simple, there are only a few miners and nodes needed in order to keep everything running. No matter what the price is, people will always be willing to do some mining one way or another.
Yeah just like before they are just panic selling because the price is hit high that affects the value of bitcoin.
but its not the problem since we are increasing and more investors and adopters are come the price should be increase.

No, It can't disappear. You can forget your password or private keys but it doesn't mean that they are vanished. You only lost them. They are still there somewhere.

If it is a moment to disappear, it will be late at least 20 years. It is a very strong crypto currency. Yes it will obviously cause huge damage to many companies and people whom they use it. It is understood that the btc is not scam and has stood in time relative to other crypto currencies created.

bitcoin is not like fraud bank and other small financial institutions. it is fully decentralized and it runs automatically and no one needs to control it. so there is no need to control it and it doesn't depend on anyone. so obviously there is no fear of bitcoin disappearance.

Bitcoin can be the bigger ponzi scheme of the world if you think about that.
That's just numbers and people put money, the price of the numbers goes high "day after day" and well, who invest first will have a good profit Wink
Think about it.
there is only few conspicary theory that says bitcoin the biggest scam the biggest ponzi scheme
and so far only weak conspiracy theory popping up
they can prove stronger evidence , so it is just a speculation
however i personally still in between believe and doubt in bitcoin so yeah bitcoin can dissapear anytime but not soon.
Bitcoin is alive already for 7 years and will be making very soon 8 years, those theories has no funds, they pick random things to try to hit bitcoin believers, if bitcoin were something like those, it should had already failed, soo if bitcoin were a ponzi how they able to keep alive soo many years and will keep making it alive over a lot more years.
If bitcoin is a scam. I think it was dissapear no longer when it is created. But the fact is bitcoin still alive until now and so many people still thrust to bitcoin. May be it becouse bitcoin was helped so many people to get a better live or future.
What is this? how do you can think if bitcoin can be a scam?... Every day another new cryptocurrency has always appeared and could make a competition one and other. I don't ever think if bitcoin can be scam coin although the bitcoin are already spread in the around the world.

No, you can't just disappear, it is an irreversible process, so could the network was disconnected, but to be disconnected in the whole world and complicated

He's not saying about your coins in your wallet, he's talking about the all system... And yeah, it can happen, nothing is impossible, someone can find a way to hack it, but it's like improbable.

And for sure the world will not give a shit, it's just few billions...
Only people with a lot of money invested in bitcoin would care in the event it "disappeared", and this basically means that a majority of people would not, and a good portion on this forum likely wouldn't care either. I doubt a ton of people on here have more than 1 Bitcoin holed up in a wallet anyways.

Yeah, just like every other digital method of payment like credit cards and Paypal. Bitcoin's got a good cause, and it's pretty unlikely it was created for malicious intent of any kind. It's helped millions of people around the world, and it can indeed change, but again, it's unlikely as it's used for many good purposes.

I also believe that bitcoin is a stronger currency with having control in the hands of those who will have their money in bitcoins and they will never want to make bitcoin useless as it is their hard earned money and they like to give bitcoin a better future and a good value.
Acyually bitcoin is not controlled by anyone. It is bitcoin users that makes it stronger and that includes each one of us
yes it is totally controlled by the users of bitcoins and not by any organization or any institution or state and not even by a person or a team that is why we have a strong believe on this currency.

Loss of bitcoin's can mean that your Bitcoins have disappeared, but not the concept of Bitcoin by itself. Honestly, Bitcoin has grown a lot and for it to become obsolete would not be an easy option. I'm sure it can be replaced by another cyrptocurrency of higher value and may diminish in value by itself, but this may be known to many before hand. Also Bitcoin is an experiment, it working along with Blockchain is a perfectly designed and working system.
