maybe for dan morehead's 5 month time window, but i think it's quite likely within a year or so. the monthly BTC trend is way too powerful to be ignored---this doesn't look like a bull trap like summer 2014. by all appearances, we've already begun another bull cycle like 2016-17. and if that's true, then we're about to go a lot further than $42k.

Even if any of these will not gonna happen Bitcoin will still gonna reach that $42K in the future but it will take a lot of time to reach that.
And no one could ever tell what would be the future of Bitcoin and its price, we just have to focus on this present price and stop thinking too much about of the future which is not yet clear.

I don't think its a believable article or info .However market is always an uncertain place where always create a drama .However it look like btc will boom i the upcoming days it could break any level and climb the top of the chart .So time will tell where it could go in the future either it can fall or rise.

in due time i guess price can go up to 42k. we all have the hope that i can go that high at very short time but it just don't happen that quick. the regulation is just to moving forward right now. there is really the need for greater intervention, something has to happen that will change the situation today. we can't just rely on bakkt or facebook libra but the materialization of the adoption.

After reading the article, I realized he was using previous movements in price to project into the future. Considering the fact that bitcoin rose from 3k+ to about 14k in the same projected period(5 months), it is important to note that the capital required for such a rise is much more than for the previous run and that is assuming that bitcoin doesn't experience further downside movement which is unlikely.

Take a look at the current market at a price around $ 10,000 of bitcoin, so it's hard to assume that it can reach about $ 42000 as you say, I think it will be at least 2 years before Bitcoin can reach that price.
