That's not gonna happen since those big companies have already done a good job by buying huge amount to increase the price up to this high and even though the others have already given up their BTC and sold it, the price will still remain because there are so many big-time holders now than before. It will not sink like how it used to be when the price was under $10,000. now we have reached the most ever high price it could get, it will be hard for BTC to fall again. instead, one should know how to use this golden opportunity since the price could recover and anyone who will gonna buy now will earn a decent amount of income when the price gets back to $60,000 again.

As long as the demand doesn't become zero, I don't think it is possible to see the price being zero also. So yeah, I also think that Bitcoin can't be destroyed easily. We can see huge decreases though like we are seeing now. But we will leave these days behind too.

Elon Musk or anyone else does not have such power to terminate cryptocurrencies. such famous people only have the power to manipulate the market. elon succeeded in musk. He manipulated the market and caused a decline in the market with some of his moves. but I think there is no question of this market disappearing or collapsing. The declines affect all cryptocurrencies, but this is something that happens all the time. nothing new. Do not be afraid.

From the little experience am having in Cryptocurrency I believe bitcoin can never crash the only thing that can happen is the price will dump which is normal nobody have to be scared of that because after the dump definitely it will still rise but it might just take time so you have to be patient. I believe bitcoin will still pump back because there are lot's of people that are just getting to know about bitcoin and there are lots of companies that are beginning to adopt bitcoin as there payment method.

From what i have notice people are planning to crash cryptocurrency and if Bitcoin crash what is the benefit of people who is against the development of digital currency, it astonished me that a man called Elon musk is fighting cryptocurrency for no relevant reasons, is that government is using Elon to remove crypto in line of currencies?

I'm afraid of the way all the crypto is reducing in price, now that i join digital cryptocurrency fully with my family and sale some of my properties to invest into crypto, it's when Elon musk will bring scandal into cryptocurrency.

People don't understand how manipulated if the market right now, everyone with your mentality will lose all the money invested.

uptrend and dips are inherent in this market. Always being in an uptrend is a harbinger of something unhealthy happening. Due to the nature of the market, after rising, it will want to make corrections by experiencing decreases. It would be wrong to see only Elon Musk or China as responsible for these declines. They can be said to have an effect, but they are not all guilty.

Anything with value will have the tendency to crash. More so bitcoin with really high volatility rates based on the people's opinions about it. So you can't just say bitcoin will not crash amidst the current dump season we're having. Let's be realistic and optimistic here because as disheartening this crash might be for the many, it's for certain that this won't be the last time bitcoin will have a crash in value. Let's keep our chin up and hodl if we can!

Well we know his intentions from behind, he wanted to manipulate the price of btc but I don't think he will succeed. And we don't know if Elon is part of the government or not.

Cryptocurrency is very volatile, and you should understand the risk involved once you join in the picture. I do hope that you have some mitigation or at least a plan B if your investments goes down.

I think we shouldn't be too persistent. Bitcoin's trend seems to be downward. One should not take action against the trend. Need to be careful. Big wins.

The issue isnt on Elon alone because even if there's no such involvement came into that man, there are still tendencies or chances where these price dips  and corrections could inevitable happen. So get used to it!

Crash is inevitable the sad thing here is that you do go all in and bet and sold of your properties which is a bad thing if you do expect too much on crypto investment. It isnt bad to

risk out but dont go all in because if the market turns out to be bitter then you would definitely be experiencing loss and might really ending up on messy life.
This is part of the risk and you should be aware on that.

I think "collapse" is not the right word to describe the fall that took place in the last days. Not only the notorious Elon Musk is to blame for this, so you shouldn't make a villain out of him. Its role should not be overestimated as well as underestimated. This person is a capitalist and behaves accordingly. There is nothing surprising in his behavior as well as the reaction to his words from the community. At first, everyone praised him when the course was growing, now they scold him. Just understand that this is the essence of the manipulator. And I consider selling property in an attempt to make money on cryptocurrency a wrong step. Invest "free" funds. Don't create additional risks for yourself.

I don't think the government is with Elon Musk in taking down cryptocurrencies. They knew it that they cannot put it into rest but they can shake the market. The benefit that whoever they are doing to make the market cheaper is that they're planning to accumulate more, that's it.

I'm afraid of the way all the crypto is reducing in price, now that i join digital cryptocurrency fully with my family and sale some of my properties to invest into crypto, it's when Elon musk will bring scandal into cryptocurrency.
Too bad for you, it's why we're always telling to only invest what you can afford to lose.

Elon himself is a shill for crypto, so I don't think he's someone being used to destroy the whole industry. He definitely did some calls which prompted the market to react rashly, resulting to what you're seeing right now in bitcoin's prices. If you're afraid that a single person can easily cause ripples and destruction in this market, you're better off investing an amount negligible to you and your wallet. After all, the crypto market is still a highly volatile aspect of investing that most people are eager to enter without having too much thought about it.

Bitcoin can not crash
I don't fully understand what does that title have to do with the thread's content but I'd like to comment it. All things can crash. We've seen this in history and IMO, it could happen much more easily on an intangible item like Bitcoin, even if we're goin' through a digital era. It's just hard to happen if you compare it with altcoins.

Bitcoin has the privilege to be first mover, which is what makes it store of value.

is that government is using Elon to remove crypto in line of currencies?
Maybe. Maybe not. How can an ordinary member of bitcointalk know for sure?

There's where you committed the biggest mistake. Never invest more than you can afford to lose.

I am pretty sure that the old timers will be sitting on a couch with some popcorn seeing bitcoin decline.
Even I wasn't able to control my laughter when I saw those big red candles and so many people panicking.
I tried to make my friends calm and made them buy the dip. Let's see how that turns into their favor.

when price drops 30%-40% that IS a crash and bitcoin can crash and has had many crashes. the important thing is that bitcoin price is on an upward trajectory where it always goes up since the adoption is growing. that means there will always be a reversal after the crash.

as for the crypto market, unfortunately people sometimes think it is the same as bitcoin but it is very different. majority of altcoins are there to be pumped and dumped which means when they crash they are actually being dumpe so that the pumpers can move on from that coin.
for example when the pumpers including Elon Musk are done pumping DOGE they will start dumping it (which has already started) and move to another shitcoin to repeat the same thing.

Two things are certain in cryptocurrency, prices either go or come down. When it is favourable, holders are usually excited at their profits, but panic usually sets in when there is a Bear Market. An important things to do to save your assets in a time like this is to convert all your Holdings to a stable coin and continue to observe the market.

this is the best times to buy bulk bitcoin. i disagree with whoever says bitcoin is not get rich at once business. You just have to be sensible, you do not keep bitcoin for long. By when it is cheaper, sell when it is a bit higher than your purchase price. when you buy at 20,000 and you are storing to sell it when it is 100,000. You will only lose because you are not sure if it will get there or not but when it start falling, you will think it will rise again hence you keep waiting and then it falls below you purchased price. you start losing when at this point when it fails to rise again

It does look to me like the bull market is over, so some further decreases of the price can happen. However, Bitcoin will bounce back eventually, I'm sure of that.
I cannot refute what I see from looking at the market. Everything has been red today with the most phenomenal drop ever seen. BTC can drop even further but there is also a time when it will rise again. So it is a matter of getting in and out at the right time. I for now wouldn't advise anyone to put their life savings in it though. The strings are pulled by bigger players not individuals like us. You can get rich but also burnt at a much higher rate.
