I have full faith in Bitcoin. I believe that one day Bitcoin will replace fiat. But by the time it happens, I will probably be dead.

I don't think that day will ever come in future and we don't want that bitcoin should replace fiat as both are currency which can be used as per our convenience.

Bitcoins will never replace anything because real money is and will
always be the number one paying method. it will never change
Your 100% right because there will never be a real money can replace with a new type of currency either digital or cryptocurrency.
for it, at least bitcoin should be equivalent to real money. where some countries bitcoin have legalized. but still will not replace real money, at least can be used as an alternative currency, we normally use the dollar as an alternative currency.

The first country that implement this will be the pioneer of this industry and the others will see how great this business model is compared to the old system

Of course, bitcoin cannot replace fiat or the true money we had in our countries. We just need to consider that bitcoin will become another currency
accepted for each countries where people use it.
Fiat is controlled by government, so if government will also control bitcoin they can merge it.

Quite unlikely for a crypto currency to replace fiat, because it is not at all intended to do that. Abolish governments, shut down banks, buy all things anonymously. Those are some of the things that must happen first before a decentralized currency becomes what fiat serves right now.

There is only one way for this to happen, the government needs to shut down all traditional banking and switch to digital currency as well. The first country that implement this will be the pioneer of this industry and the others will see how great this business model is compared to the old system

I agree that bitcoin or any cryptocurrency will not replace fiat.  There will be a need for fiat and bitcoin can have a purpose as well as a store of value, another form of payment, or a way to transfer money.

Bitcoin will be more powerful in future but it can never replace fiat, it will be always used as an option to fiat currency and don't think that it can be a mainstream currency.

If some country will make bitcoin as core currency bitcoin will become a fiat. But about  replacing it's true, it will never happen to bitcoin.

More importantly, why such make a desire to have fiat be replaced by bitcoin?

Do you know some major effects in one country's economy if that will happened?
Yes and that is exactly why I do not think governments let bitcoin to replace national currencies.

Yes Governments don't want to loose their control on money, if they allow bitcoin then they will surely loose control and it will also end up their corrupted activities.
Corruption in bitcoin will will be better if government is involve for bitcoin.. honestly you cant easily tract the transaction if you use bitmixer.. so bitcoin is not the best to involve government for bitcoin.. its bad for me..
And websites such as bitmixer are among the biggest obstacles for spreading bitcoin in a formal way.
If they can adopt more about bitcoin it would be better to dont involve any government about bitcoin because  its risky..
Yean bitmixer is one of the reason.. not a biggest one..

Fiat will continue its role in future too even if the bitcoin gets on mainstream as the users of fiat are more and it will continue to rise in future too.

Yeah people find easy to use fiat as it is accepted everywhere and users have more faith in it in compare to any digital currency.

Yes, bitcoin cannot replace fiat and it will remain on its place while , as both of the currencies have their own places, bitcoin is invented for the oline use and online businesses while the fiat is working good for the offline use at the local markets and other shops etc.
There is a strong possibility that bitcoin becomes much more popular among people and the usage of it increases however it is not replaced simply.

I disagree about the fact that the fiat is only for offline markets because you can see that fiat is also getting more online so the bitcoin will get it difficult one day.
There is a good chance that the bitcoin will never replace the fiat.
Yes it does not replace fiat but its usage among users is increasing so we can expect for more shops that accepts bitcoin and more people who use it.

Bitcoin cannot replace fiat is not true. It will replace soon

Not at all a possible thing. Till the day we describe bitcoin in terms of dollar or some other form of currency, bitcoin would never replace fiat.
Fiat is still need and necessary since we are using it to buy goods in the real world. Bitcoin only used to buy online gooda and services and can only be used online.
Yes, also since bitcoin does have many possible problem if it becomes a fiat since changes in its price can cause crazy inflations.
