Where does BCH stand in relation to a coin(BTC) that people consider putting in their IRA? How is it any different from the nth copy of litecoin?

The more interesting aspect of the BCH phenomena is what stops financially prepared people from infinitely forking BTC in a parasitic attempt to further suck money out of the BTC brand?

Yeah, the sad thing is we could have just made the BTC block size larger and avoided the entire mess.

I do not think anyone is dump enough to switch his equipment to another coin just based on a pump !! what if by the time you reach your first payment the dump happen ! lose lose situation . So to even start considering mining another coin this coin price should get stable for good period of time on the so called profitable price before anyone can really start thinking about move to it   .

Completely agree...this is nothing solid behind Bitcoin Cash, no community, no recognition, no code/dev (copied code), just several greedy whale miners Huh This should not be the future of the whole cryptocurrency world, otherwise, what is the difference with Wall Street?

Even if not now, Bitcoincash for the miners in the future will become more profitable than Bitcoin.

At the moment a Bitcoin (BTC) mining is very difficult and very expensive devices are needed when mining. But bitcoincash mining is not as hard as bitcoin. In the future Bitcoincash will become more profitable than Bitcoin.

How long this pump will last? Where the following dump will make the price drop? Don't forget it's a fork and so a lot of people got a lot of it just by holding BTC. Many of these might not care a lot about it and are therefore just selling it for easy/free $$$.
Nobody knows where and when it will stabilize after it. Just have to look at what happens with ETC.

IF you can mine Bitcoin cash and get paid in bitcoin like many alt coins pool , or bitcoin cash price stabilize and more people start buying hash from Nicehash then it will easily balance out ,

I think many miner will turn from bitcoin to bcc mining. Also 2% means a lot for miners who mine with a lot of miners, but for simple miners it doesn't make any sense but it's human's nature, when people see extra 2%, they want it.
More miners will come on this coin.

Most likely there will be tons of pool hoppers.

Basically since the BCC chain has as a "Difficulty protection retarget every 12 hours" and yet still has the original retarget every 2016 blocks then...

In 1-2 days when BCC difficulty retargets, everybody will mine BCC since its more profitable.

BTC will slow down, and during the next retarget difficulty will go down and become more profitable again.

BCC will slow down when it retargets after 2016 since more miners joined, so miners will leave for BTC.

BCC chain will slow down until the difficulty protection retarget sets in...

Exciting times...

Too bad I don't own any Bitcoin ASICs anymore

The price fluctuates so much that this isn't certain at all. Tomorrow the price might be back at $300 and miners will be at a complete loss. You can't jump all in until the price stabilizes.

There will be equilibreum attained between the 2 and it will balance iteself out almost like eth/etc eventually. (Assuming miners are for profit and not philisophically mining one or another)
