Participating in forums is a great way to expand your horizons about bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. Here are some of my recommended ones tho I think that bitcointalk is the best among them  Wink

Reddit:

/r/Bitcoin
/r/Bitcoin_uncensored
/r/bitcoin_unlimited
/r/BTC
/r/BitcoinXT

Bitcoin Forum = https://bitco.in/forum/
Crypto Comapre = https://www.cryptocompare.com

what could you possibly be looking for that you can't find on bitcointalk?

- there is reddit: /r/cryptocurrency and /r/{put any altcoin name here}
- there are some dedicated forums like litecointalk, reddhead(or reddcointalk can't remember), i think ETH and Stellar have their own forum too
- cryptocointalk.com

Yes reditt is always better to have discussion about something if there is alternate strong option like bitcointalk. Some sites are developed with the intention of sale so there is no point in wasting efforts there becuase ultimately it results in shuting down of those sites. Cryptocointalk is also a good option.

Cryptocointalk is mostly spamming advertisement for refferal link the last time i paid a visit.

the only place that i like is reddit. and @TraderETH if it is blocked just use a free web proxy to reach the site it is easy to use.
there is also /r/bitcoinmarkets /r/CryptoMarkets and my favorite /r/dogecoin and also /r/doitforthecoin and /r/Jobs4Bitcoins

depending on what OP is looking for many of the Twitter accounts can also be useful.

The other crypto forums can`t compare with bitcointalk.

You can find more active cryptocurrency reddit subs than their actual community forum, I have noticed. So I suggest that you search for the subreddit of the cryptocurrency that you are interested in.

In the Bitcoin community, my opinion is that the /r/bitcoin sub is more informative of the latest news and developments in the Bitcoin world.

There are lots of them, for example : https://bitco.in/forum/ and also http://bitbiz.io/ and also https://freebitcointalk.org/ but none of them can even come close to this forum in activity and Bitcoin resources.

On Reddit: you have some of the following :
    /r/Bitcoin
    /r/Bitcoin_uncensored
    /r/bitcoin_unlimited
    /r/BTC
    /r/BitcoinXT

On Facebook :
    Facebook - Bitcoin
    Facebook - Bitcoin
    Facebook - Bitcoin Hong Kong
    Facebook - Bitcoin P2P Cryptocurrency
    Facebook - Bitcoin India

Enjoy ;->

Just found this one for discussion of all altcoins available and listed https://www.cryptocompare.com/forum/#/coin
I am not quite active on crypto forums other than this bitcointalk. To learn more about bitcoin and to get upto date news i visit several bitcoin related blogs and magazine like coindesk, cointelegraph and news.bitcoin.com.
