Bitcoin may rise when the halving comes. But no one knows what will happen after that. There's a chance of a major crash, due to short traders dumping their coin holdings. There's a lot of speculation going on, and it is difficult to predict the future prices.
We'll see all time high within a year. This is all about supply and demand dynamics. When supply is very limited and demand is high, price explodes.

For sure it will not just rise on this halving, but for the next years bitcoin will going to continuous it's rise.
And many stores now are considering the use of bitcoin and even here in our country, Philippines.
It is clear that this current bullish trend has remained stable for several weeks, and I have no doubt that $800 seems a very achievable goal before halving, but of course it is really hard to predict with full accuracy the future behavior of this still volatile coin.
That could happen mate and I know you are also hoping for that to happen, just trust our instinct because if we will save our bitcoins now in after the halving we can easily encash it with a guaranteed money. Let us discipline our selves not to buy worthless things and instead save it for the halving.

I predict a bitcoin will continue to rise to near halving. but when halving there are two possibilities, it will be stable or there will be a dump. but if there is a dump, maybe it will up again. but probably not fast. at least we can feel the halving effect until the end of the year or throughout the year 2017
Yes I think it will stay rising because of the fact of the bitcoin halving that is coming in a about a month from now.

Well you see how situation can develop in just few months. From then until now we saw big rise, and people around forum talk about even bigger rise. I think from all of that I become optimist too, and perhaps we can really touch magic 1000 $ per 1 BTC.
Halving is closer and closer, and how much I understand situation we can expect boom in month or two after the halving. So this train is just on the beginning as I see. Hold on, fast ride is coming.

Nope. I see it as calmth before the storm. Right now we are nearly exact a month away from the block halving. It's normal that the price right now seems somewhat stable. I expect the real action to start when we are just a week away from the block halving. We'll need to have have some patience.

I don't think so. Many are still buying bitcoins, although not as much as before. Bitcoin is now rising indeed and that is nice for the people with already Bitcoin because they also waited a long time until they can earn profit with Bitcoin.
And maybe the time will be soon so they can earn some profit with it so that is nice, but just have to wait and see for what will happen.

I am quite sure that we'll see a drop coming up before reaching $450 this or maybe next week.
My guess is that the price will drop back to $420 to $430 as there is nothing that is supporting the current price.
