I may be a little bias about your converter because you included my main currency.
However, I would like to suggest you to add some more currencies and remove the option to turn on and off the moving numbers in the background because for me it is not necessary. Just make it as plain and simple as possible. Good start, mate.

Haha, its ok to be biased! The holy toggle button has been implemented and will remember your selection for future use! More currencies on the way once I make a better way to get the data. If someone asks me to put another currency in manually, however, I'll do it if requested..

good sites for the OP, i really like the concepts. the site looks simple and give valid data for the converter. i think the green circle moving from up into bottom in the background is not good as drwtsn32 said. but over all, your site looks good and need to add more function like the market source of bitcoin price and etc.

Thank you man. Added the toggle with cookies so itll remember.. and Yeah, will get to more function soon. I appreciate the support.

There is a PHP! Cool. So what you need is to rank up so that you will get the first option when the bitcoin exchange to other currency is searched in google. This will be hard so you will need a lot of clicks to get up that rank. Simple and fast so it is cool for me. Don't make it more complicated by adding up a chatbox. It will just give you a headache. Just try to add some more currencies.
Yes, I'm gonna add a few features and get all the currencies cleanly and then focus on getting on the top. I just got to figure out how to expand this a bit more.

It's up! Thanks a lot!
This would really save me some time as I wouldn't need to log in every time I need to check the rates.
Thanks for the quick work!

Looking forward to see what other functionalities you'll add.  Cheesy Good luck.
No problem, you'll see more functions soon!

Updated with a toggle switc for the feed

It should be up and ready now.. When I posted the PHP one, the code just broke. And I'm pretty sure I didn't touch it and I had to play around with it for a bit, I'm sorry about that. I panicked a little and didn't want people to see it broken but its fixed now lol

if you want to add something unique.. here is something.

look into the cost of living index. or other sites that work out the average price of goods/food/ living costs. and make it so you also show the cost of, for instance:
the cost of bread index.

where 1btc= xxx loaves of bread.

after all bitcoins ethos is meant to be about the separation of fiat.. so by you piloting the cost of living measures, you could help spark peoples minds into seeing the bigger picture of what bitcoin is all about
This would actually be something I'd be interested in using and seeing how effective it is.

Getting some input as to the purchasing power of Bitcoin throughout the world, and comparing it against the cost of living, would be a site i would look at a lot to be honest, as numbers like that interest me for the most part.

If something like this is ever made I'd like to know.

Good site. But yeah, I find the moving background kind of distracting.  Grin

Please add Php currency. You could pull the rate for btc <> php from coins.ph since it's the most widely used
in the Philippines and it's the most convenient to use for conversion to our fiat. Thanks.

PHP is up now
It's not?
I checked again but all I see are still the same 3 buttons for USD, EUR, CNY. Or am I missing something? Sorry.
But thanks for considering to add it. I'll have your site bookmarked.

Also, I don't know what happened but I can't see the conversion rate for USD, EUR, and CNY. And when I click on the EUR button, I get a message. "btcflux says: 1" Then I'd have to click on the 'ok' button to get rid of that window.

Gonna implement a toggle for the transactions & I'll add PHP right now... I'm working on automating this currency thing so I can pull them all at once, but since you requested, I'll do it now.

yep thats another option. like i said a few food items that are internationally recognised and a few electrical items try to get away from just being just a bitcoin<->fiat site. as thats not really highlighting bitcoins separation from fiat
Yeah, I wasn't discrediting your idea (it's pretty good imo), just adding that Big Macs are a common good to do price comparisons with Smiley Now, it would be better if Big Macs could actually be purchased with Bitcoin ofc.

Aside from that, in your previous post, you mentioned that troll boxes could de-rate the website in question. How so?
By having a troll box, your website doesn't automatically become a 'crackpot website', since the website itself isn't affiliated with anything said in the troll box.
Poloniex has one, wouldn't call them a crackpot website.

but poloniex is not really top of the list of exchanges.. even with hundreds of different currencies.. its not as popular/professional as some of the others that actually have less trading features, but dont have a troll box.

for instance btc-e didnt really get 'profesional' many people treated it as the joke site compared to mtgox bitstamp back in 2012-2013
yea it was popular. but for the wrong reasons.

so although the OP could add a troll box, it may make people sign up to chat on it. and be 'popular' people will think of the site as being
a chatroom with a price ticker. rather than
a price comparison site with a chatroom

it all depends on what path the OP wants to take the site. and the goals he wants to achieve

[/quote]

I'll have to think deeply about the chatbox. Maybe I think of a way to legitamize the people there, as in so no one can just talk they have to do something or go through something first. Or even put it through a trial run to see if people would like it or not...

I'm still going through and fixing things people find wrong, I'm gonna put a shoutout to thank the people for helping me find issues and come up with ideas.

As for the moving background of current transactions- I was thinking about making a toggle switch on the top bar that can turn it on and off and so when you come back to revisit the site it'll save your preference.

this is @all of the people who replied to my thread^ Thanks for helping me out
