Usual correction of 5-10%, nothing to worry about so far. Of course with the price bitcoin has reached, a 5% correction means minus 1000$ on price, this could frighten newbies.

Agreed. If anything, this is going to push people to start buying more. They're soon going to realize they won't get many more opportunities to purchase sub 18,000 in the future. Will probably continue the cycle of up and downs by having another surge after this correction. Bitcoin's got a pretty cyclical nature and I think it's secure enough to the point right now that people aren't trying to get rid of it (aka, no major drops soon).

Bitcoin ups more than 100% this year. Redrawing is normal and it permits to confirm resistance support.

Don't worry about it Smiley). The whales are trying to cheat people Smiley) They want all of us afraid about this dump and sell our Bitcoin to cut loss. This problem happened a lot of times before so no need to worry, we just need to keep holding and waiting a little bit more, Bitcoin price will increase back soon Cheesy

Has the Bitcoin crash just started?

doesn't look like it.

it's pretty well understood that parabolic trends end with blow-off tops. that means a very steep rise followed by a swift crash. take a look at the bubble at the end of 2013. when the market finally topped, we dropped ~54% in three days ($1175 to $538). for comparison, we have just dropped ~17% from top to bottom in the last three days.

this looks like just another typical correction. with any luck, we can shake the trees a bit and fill my bids far below here. Smiley

Bitcoins falls back with 10% and people start panicking. This is just  a normal correction, price of bitcoins will always fluctuate a bit.
No need to worry!

Has the Bitcoin crash just started?
I would not call it a crash if I were you. Crash is a bearish run wherein price of btc has tanked into unimaginable levels now. For now, I would call what happened a correction since price has only gone down by 7%. It is a slight dip on price just like what happened today. Although that is the case, it can be a sign that a dump is soon to happen if this current price decrease continues that is. A dump refers to bigger price decrease but not to the extent that the price ain't imaginable.

Has the Bitcoin crash just started?
How long have you been in bitcoin? You recently started? There's no crash that's happening, it's a mere fact that bitcoin is on a correction right now. It's unusual if bitcoin is only increasing and there's no correction or it's value isn't going down. But after this correction wait for it's increase, so if you are wise enough to understand that it's a good buying time, buy.

Bitcoin is falling and Bitcoin Cash is the only altcoin which is rising now. This is what happened once before. I think everything will go back to normal soon. Just wait, do not panic and hold your bitcoins.

Has the Bitcoin crash just started?
Far from it. A 10% pullback is hardly a crash. This looks like the much needed correction we've waiting for after we tested the 19.8k mark last week.

To newcomers, this migh look like a crash. To anyone who's been into btc for a few months now, this is just a correction (and the time to buy cheap coins). To altcoins supporters, this is the perfect opportunity to begin the FUD campaign. Just the usual.

Hope to see this pullback to at least 13K. Recent rise has been too fast too bubbly. If we could pull back to at least 13K then we could see 50K easily in a few months time. Just my 2 cents

I wouldn't mind a pullback to those levels, if altcoins pulled back too. Right now BTC dominance has dipped below 50%, which means that altcoins are doing well while Bitcoin has crashed. I don't mind Bitcoin Cash increasing in price.

Hell no, what would it started? The price has just went down from $19500 to $18000, it does not means that itis a crash, it is less than a five percent, do you have an idea of how a crash looks like? It must need a dip of more than $9000 to be considered as a real crash.

Why such pessimism? Usual correction, however as always, to throw off passengers, that is - suckers. So, if unbearable - merge.

That looks too straight. If we look back on a historical chart, we'll always see fluctuations of one or another nature and range. Many think the general trend looks to go higher.
