I ended up getting the bit-x debit card, and tested it at the store using the POS. The amount taken was almost exactly to the cent correct to the bitcoin value at the time of the transaction AWESOME!
I see that on the card information in this thread, it says there is a % fee for not using the currency the card is set for. The POS was not using USD which is the type of card I have. Is the fee only for withdrawals from and ATM or purchases online? Or am I going to get a fee added at the end of the month? Does anyone who has this card know?

You should mention that E-coin.io is offering Virtual cards as-well for only 3$ (and sometimes it's free when there is promotions or events or something)

Yeah there is a promotion running this week where you can apply for a free virtual card.
I did participate and now I am waiting for them to come through.

Very excited if and how it will work.

Can't find that promotion anywhere.

Is it over?
He probably meant about this promo https://www.e-coin.io/promo ,which is over it was until 31th December

If I am not wrong they will give it out 10 january.
If you completed the task and do some extra's you could win a physical card too.

I just got a Bitcoin debit card from Shift. I did a review on my website along with a tutorial on how to set it up. It works great.

How do you pay monthly fee to the credit company?
They would take the money straight from your main account ballance Wink
If you can't pay for it i think they would block your card

So it is linked to my main fiat bank account? Where is the bitcoin from? I pay directly to those bitcoin credit company?
No, your debit card is linked to your bitcoin wallets account (bit-x,xapo.etc)
And your money from this account will be deducted for the payment and fee for the debit card Wink

Thanks for the clarification. Bit-x is just like a bank. We need to save there before we spend (debit card).

these these work in india, like I go to ATM and withdraw cash from that card ?

I know that Bit-X and Xapo do. You will have to check with AdvCash and E-Coin but they should. Some cards do not ship to India.

Is there any limits for withdraw with this cards from an ATM? or can we use these cards in our online shopping like as mastercards or visas?

I might redesign the thread to include all the prepaid options.

It's time add this new card Coinomat debit card :

  • Card loading costs fixed €3 / $3 plus Coinomat exchange rate for your cryptocurrency
  • Issuance costs €15.99 / $19.99
  • ATM International withdrawal - €2.80 / $3.50
  • Monthly fee - none
  • PoS transaction €0.55 / $0.75
