house edge play a big role to attract players especially those heavy gamer and i guess this two gambling site gave them the benefits to consider how they place the house edge up to this amount, though i played not that much but i think bitsler would be a good option just for my personal experience.

There isn't any terms before you get a 0.5% house edge. As long as you don't bet more than 0.25% of the house bankroll then it will not rise. As of right now with where our house bank roll is at you can make a bet of 7BTC at 50% win chance and still have 0.5% house edge.

I am playing on primedice and duckdice these days and both have 1% house edge which is pretty low and quite attractive house edge. But haven't tried safedice till now, i will try them as i came to know that they only have 0.5%.

Safedice has definitely the lowest house edge on most bets just 0.5% , but the house edge is variable so on bigger bets the HE goes up.

Atm on 2x a 1 btc bet has a HE of 0.5%, a 10 btc bet has a HE of 0.7097%, a 25 btc bet has a HE of 1.7742%.
