BTC price hike again after the Chinese New Year. Seems Holidays have a big contribution on BTC's price dip. If you have plan to invest on BTC or in Cryptocurrency better to mark the holidays on your calendar.

BTC price dip seems never ending. It's a nerve racking for those who invested on its price peak.  Hope it can be recovered in next few months.

The bitcoin price dip seems there is something common. The price dip at the middle of January since 2014. It could be this is already a behavior of Bitcoin price. Investors/Traders should be watchful on this.

Yep, as long as bitcoin has existed, there has been dips as a result of people dumping their share of coins because they feel like that the price won't go up much more. Same with 2013, and we're now around 8x the peak price of back then.

Right now, I think we're going to probably recover to above $10k, and then potentially enter a period where everyone thinks that bitcoin is dead and there is no more money to be made in investing in bitcoin.

That's when it's the best time to fill up your bags, because the price will be cheap. And when a pump comes, people will quickly hype over again. It's essentially a boom/bust cycle.

A Bitcoin pirce stabilizing over $10k and it should be dead?
This makes no sense.
Let the price go down to $5k and not do much for half a year. Then you can make that statement people losing faith and selling their stash.
Hovering abobe $10k even for half a year would be a very bullish sign, especially if you look at the fundamentals. A reaction in terms of upwards price movement is just a matter of time then.

Bitcoin prices we have always been concerned that the decline in our opinion is only the market volatility. The reason for the decline may be that the whales are placing tapes, but they may not have been able to catch some people, so bitcoin will slowly rise up again in March at most.

Hopeful on that dude that it will rise up on March. But if the Whales moves definitely small fishes will FUD which really affect the ecosystem of the market. Many could not HODL anymore  which turn out to a massive sell out. Whales will be happy to catch those tiny fishes and won't stop until they satisfied their greedy belly.

Be careful of all the investors because of the decay of bitcoin's value? That's the way life is always, you're always ready to lose because you're not always lucky all the time, so as you said, you're going to take care of everything, because we do not know bitcoin's motion whether it's chin or up.

What's with the decay? I mean bitcoin's value isn't decaying instead it's just taking its position in another take off and all of these dips are just part of the wonder of bitcoin.
It's actually a good entry point for investors and many had dream this to happen again so why there's some damn worried.

Well its always a good thing to be positive even in times like these and you have history to back upnyour belief, but its also good not to expect too much that a rebound is on the works. Anything is possible, it can bounce back or it can drop even lower. At this point, TAs are out the window

some people are twisted and like the fact some are losing money. kinda like a big brother that keeps teasing the younger ones. Newbies see all the fud get worried, panic, sell, and post worrisome comments. It is a vicious cycle. Hence why I try to break with positive comments!

Profit taking from those who have bought BTC last year is not yet over. Most investors probably had a target of 1 year before they take profit, so, it is just normal for the market to have a bloodbath during the start of another year. Once this is over, there is no other way for BTC price movement but to go up and rise to the moon.

patterns like this do exist and they tend to repeat themselves. for example it has been many years that bitcoin has a sizeable drop during January and then has a much bigger recovery in February. the repetition is because of the causes that are being repeated for example the fact that January is the first month of the year and also it coincides with the Chinese new year which is celebrated by many Asian countries.

but also it is because at some point people expect the same thing to be repeated so they act on it. for example they sell because they expect the drop!

the important thing is to have these patterns in mind but don't think of them as 100% rules.

a self-fulfilling prophecy: the prices have always come back up in February, there for it's reasonable to assume it will happen again and buy now. Buying now leads to prices going back up closing the circle.

Here we go, so history is repeating itself? I'm even more focused and taking a close look at the possibility that bitcoin will grow rapidly again. After this big wave of falling down there is an opposite reaction where we can see it coming very soon.

Bitcoin grew more than 1000 folds and market is speculative in growing too fast these dips are indications for new money coming in this time BTC price will grow to 25000 dollars before march

Highly unlikely since the recent graphs show us that bearish trend is just around the corner with the current formation of a bearish pennant. We might even see lower than $7000 if the momentum of the bears proved to be strong. This is not just a normal January behavior of the bitcoin market since the bears are silently winning the trend game. It looks like something is up and the road to higher highs will be delayed by a couple of months of bloodbath first.

Let's be realistic, it will go up but $25k by march is a bit optimistic. I like unicorns but that doesn't make them real Smiley

Many people are new in crypto currency and there did not follow history and most of them invest in bitcoin because of how profitable they had it to be.
History is there for us to study and know the position of thing especially the price movements. This time Last year bitcoin was having a bearish position and we should always prepared for this.

Bitcoin is the decentralised digital currency. So it's not control by the private sector, government or by the developer of Bitcoin. It's purely independent of the government. The price of Bitcoin is reduced only if the trader sell their bitcoin due to panic. Now the price of Bitcoin is reduced due to some panic selling.

I think the drop in bitcoin is normal.
In the past, bitcoin has gone up too fast.
Now it's just adjusting.

I guess. But the price dip actually is good in market.  Money will move. Many will think twice to hold their asset anymore. Holding of asset will spike of prices anyway.

Indeed, Asia has a traditional holiday Spring Festival, so Asian bitcoin investors will cash in on the cryptocurrency market, leading to a drop in bitcoin.
But perhaps there is one thing need attention, every big fall because the policy of the Chinese government, in 2013 the Chinese government issued a warning, China banned the ICO and exchange in September last year, China's recent plan to further restrict the ICO projects and overseas exchange.
