Hey everyone! I've brought this site back to life! (It took about the same amount of time that removing the link from my sig would, so why not? Tongue)

Also, the address database has been cleared, so send in your coins and addresses to each pool!

Thanks for doing this.  I browsed around your site a bit, then went over to bitmit too (based on your site write up)
I'm still working on even my first BTC, but did enter an address *fingers crossed*

Doesn't use these forums that often.
Nice site!
Shame that the 100 BTC draw hasn't even got going...
I only have 0.1 (less than that, actually) BTC so really want to win that Wink

So if you see more than 1 submission from the same IP address you will delete all but one of them?

I just implicated a script that will do this. I understand it is unfair to people who share an IP or use the same VPN, but I don't know of/want to implicate a better way to keep cheaters away. If anyone else has an idea, I'd like to hear it.

Thanks,
Garrett

To avoid it being unfair for people who share an IP or use the same VPN, I think that you should do a couple of things.

First, allow 2 or 3 submissions from each IP address. This should fix most issues that arise.

Secondly, you should allow people to pay something like .001 btc for each submission after those first 2 or three.

I hope that this helps.

Someone submitted a ton of addresses from the IP: 94.72.129.137

Please don't do that, all but one of your submissions have been removed.

Another payout has been sent and the address submissions have been cleared. I'm setting up a 100btc dispenser right now Cheesy

I also set up an operation fabulous ad. If anyone wants to go about purchasing a more permanent advertisement space let me know and I'll happily set something up.

Okay I think I'll just throw some of their ads on the site unless I start to get a mass of donations, I think the 100btc lottery would be pretty cool if it got some more donations. I think I'll put the revenue from the ads towards that so the payouts can be a bit more often. I'll set up another page and everything for the larger amount sometime this weekend.

Thanks for the contribution!

Sent 1 BTC.

By the way, Operation Fabulous is another way to earn BTC through advertising space.

All contributions to the dispenser < 0.01 BTC from now on will be ignored due to insignificance. They will still be a part of the total balance, but they will not be reflected on the chart on site.

Payout!

All addresses submitted are cleared, and will be after every payout.

I was thinking... real lotteries usually have a higher payout ratio, but they are able to do this only because they charge a fee. If I were to make a 100btc lottery and still not charge for address submissions, would anyone donate? It would make someone very happy haha, I would probably require an email along with every specific address both to prevent people from cheating, and to notify them of their win.

Tell me what you think, and thanks for the donations so far!

Yay for donors!

I have a question for users:
Should I delete all submitted addresses after each payout?
I think this would create more incentive to come to the site, thus drive up the hit count, driving up the search engine results, therefore driving up the donation amounts.
Another alternative to leaving the submissions stacking up, would be to delete all but the most recent 100 submissions.

I'll leave it up to the users. First three votes I get either way I'll stick with for at least a month.

Thanks for your support,
Garrett
