Unless you're the one orchestrating the dump, you profiting from it is pretty unlikely ("don't catch a falling knife" bit).

You are right. We are not the people controlling the price, so if we buy now, the price could go lower and we will lose.

Pump will never allow you to earn bitcoin cheaply as price will be higher at that time but price will fall when you experience a major dump and that is the right time to buy bitcoins.

$3k is difficult to achieve after the halving as it is too high to expect in such a short duration, the price that we see at halving would be the highest, as price will start going down after the halving.

reaching $3000 is not part of the story while we are still far below the $1000 price level. at this point we don't even know whether or not we'll hit $800 just before the block halving.

not that hard,it's natural,if bitcoin price was too stable,the market will getting slow as people don't have chance to make profit from it,sometimes when price rising,bitcoin need time to get into the stable position

dumping the last pump it's not what i call dumping the real value, the last pump was hardly considered stable

so i see nothing wrong if the market want to play to reach the solid value, you can not expect a rock solid value after a pump like that, it need plenty of consolidation

Price is not yet stable. For the past 4 hours the price that I've seen posted by preev is $556, $566,$590 and now $570.
We might be seeing this in next couple of days until its stable and see a new floor price of Bitcoin. Too bad we did not see Bitcoin hit $800, just barely.

It is just natural reaction for so high jumps of price. in next week we will see stabilization and high race over $800 maybe even $1000
