Well said mate, Having knowledge is not just enough to gain, However, in some cases, if you practice without knowledge, it is more likely to face loss or danger. For the practice phase, first you need to take basic knowledge to start something, suppose you are newbie and posting new in this forum, for this you should first have general knowledge about this Bitcointalk forum and read the rules, otherwise you may be banned. or be tagged by DT members. Now if you know the rules then you will be less likely to make mistakes when you actually go to post.
So all sectors are like that, success is not possible by practicing without knowledge. And if it goes to practice then I don't see anything other than facing losses

Before getting into Bitcoin, you should definitely get an idea about Bitcoin. OP you are currently new, in which case if you jump directly into bitcoin and start trading of course your portfolio is likely to be empty and facing losses is very high. And you should not suggest long-term hold because you don't have an intimate knowledge of the market. So you can get enough knowledge about the Bitcoin market from different exchanges and learn the preparations for trading. So it is better to get your knowledge on this current position, trading and holding is the next step.

OP you decided to trade in bitcoin. To do trading you need to have good knowledge and skills, understand about the market. If you don't have good knowledge about the market then you will face loss. OP you said you want to stay away from gambling and casinos which is a good decision. Many people are seen to gain by trading and lose again by gambling. You never go gambling. OP If you can acquire enough knowledge and skills about trading, then you can do trading. Don't just rely on trading, you should also invest in Bitcoin. Bitcoin price is very low at present. If you can invest now and hold for 2-3 years, hopefully you will get a lot of profit. However you invest or trade in Bitcoin, you have to take risks.

Not as long as the decision making is right, sometimes there are even very big losses in trading including some people who have been at that level, Yeah I know to be at that level of trading is not easy it takes time and long experience to know all the skills and patterns that can Combined, trading is honestly full of risks for BTC holders.

But for the OP, there are lots of ways, sometimes you have to learn some suggestions directly because if you only say theory without putting it into practice then it's the same as if you never learned.

BTC and other cryptoassets are suitable only for long-term hoding, so the main strategy is to avoid spending crypto. Cryptotrading is like gambling, I don't think that it's a good idea to even try it, especially if the sums you possess are not so high: trading fees usually cost more than any profit in case of small amounts of BTC. Long-term hodling requires years of patience, there won't be fast profit with crypto...

What do you mean 'you want to do marketing' ? if you have marketing skills then you can try to find a real job, if you are interested in Bitcoin, you could try to get a marketing role in Bitcoin Exchange or you might want to get some job in any blockchain related industry. If you don't actually have any skills, then you should learn one get a real job and spare some of your salary to buy some Bitcoin.

The thing is, Bitcoin is not a get rich quick scheme.

The internet holds vast numbers of information about almost everything. All you need to do is ask about it. We got the whole world in the palm of our hand. So why not use that powerful thing? All it takes is to know the way how to ask the question. One step at a time. Have you done your own research before asking for help from here? This may sound disappointing but no one here is going to help you. You need to do it on your own.

Learn the basics first, then try it out on your own. If you get stuck at some point then you can ask here. By doing this maybe you will get some help. Don't get me wrong, there are people here who will help you for sure, but you need to give proof that you are putting in effort.

Don't go for advanced learning until you have mastered the basics first. Trading is not a game. It takes time, hard work, patience, and most importantly - a curious mind that is eager to learn.

OP, let me give you an advice of mine. Whenever you seek to learn something, seek the knowledge on YouTube. Everything tutorial you want can be found on YouTube. There are people who've already encountered whatever you're confronted with and made videos elucidating them, borrow from their experience and learn. It's better that way han asking users here who may not have that time to indulge you on what you want as speedily as you may want it.
