Nobody is betting on approval anymore after the Winklevoss ETF refusal guys. Its a nonevent. Expect a sharp drop upon announcement by 3-5 dollar. If really anybody would give a shit about this BTC ETF refusal decision Nr. 1126677, if really anybody believes this thing can go through, we would have seen a sharp price rise over the weekend - and there was none.

Dont get wet.

No one knows and they may give the statement at any time they want.

Last time the statement has been made in the last minute, that is, around 5 pm in whatever time zone they are.

5pm Washington time ?

Getting my money ready to buy up on some cheap coins. I think it's ridiculous that anyone would invest into BTC like this, the chance of an approval is slim to none and it's essentially just gambling.
I hope there are many that are waiting for a good correction, but i highly doubt we could necessarily see a major correction as the investments that came recently are not from speculators and so lets wait and see how the market reacts when the SEC once again rejects the EFT.

Bought some after the March rejection. Keep getting ETF denied so I can scope more in the post denial dips.

I doubt the price will go down much in the likelihood of today's latest ETF rejection. Nobody expects it to be approved so the price won't budge much today.

They made their decision. They will refuse. Nobody gives a shit anymore about ETF. This is Bitcoin.

i also say this and will continue to do so.

but one thing has changed in the world. and that is the news about Japan. if you look at all the rest of the countries, they are treating bitcoin a lot better. amny more countries are thinking about doing the same thing.
so i say there is a very small chance that has affected SEC decision.
but in the end even if they approve it, nothing is going to change Smiley
Bitcoin price already started decreased, whether because ETF decision or not but I think better to move forward with many adopters join in the environment because of the country already support it such as Japan. We will see in the end of the day if bitcoin price continue to fall or rise again tomorrow. But, bitcoin will recover again obviously, so keep calm and save your bitcoin.

Who knows dominates in good and evil!
When they reject the ETF again, I expect a quick fall in price, followed by a recovery.
Then we can start talking about the next SEC decision, which will probably be in the next few months, and the hope can build again that this time it will be accepted.

I hope they stop with these stupid ETFs, if you want to invest in Bitcoin, invest in Bitcoin. No ETF is required!

I completely agree with you for cryptousers, but for retired, housekeepers, grandparents and not formed on the subject I think the solution is ETF. They can't know how to use cryptocurrencies. Like normal funds in a word.

I think this time around it will not affect the Bitcoin price very much (or at all).

In March many people were expecting it to get approved, so there was a whole price buildup until the rejection point.

This time I cannot see who really expects this to get approved. They have made perfectly clear why they didn't approve it back then and nothing has changed for bitcoin in the last months. So why should they approve it now ...

i hope that it will not affect bitcoin price because as i remember after bitcoin is not approved, bitcoin price is still increase into a new range and for this time, i hope that this will not stop the price to be increase more. but no one will know what will happen after the result is out in tomorrow and we can only waiting on the market.

What are the true advantages of ETF? Are we sure that we need it?
In short it is same like the mutual funds but on a larger scale ,the advantages on approval is that we will see huge investments coming into bitcoin which will impact the price and it will break more records on its way ,so these are the major advantages but to get approval it is really hard because the rule books says that it should be a fully transparent actively managed fund and bitcoin is a decentralized fund, but SEC has the rights to provide exemption like they did to powershares in the past.

I disagree, if nothing were to change then why not approving it the first time and get on with it?
I just feel sad to see despite the successful take off we're still looking up to the governments with their laws and power of control.

We're very much like animals in a zoo where looking at the hands of zookeepers to see when they feed us and just seeing them makes us to jump around(becoming happy and buy at whatever the price is)so people can enjoy watching us.

After approval I believe many things will change forever, however I couldn't see the reason why a government ever wants to help any revolution started by people around the world which will eventually result in their demise? if they wanted to be good they wouldn't have take control over our lives and use our God given natural resources for their own agendas and gain.
