That about sums it up. That was the first conference I had been to so I didn't have anything to compare it to but it does not motivate me to go to any more conferences, it is certainly not what I had expected.

Though to be fair, the second day they made seating available and the microphones worked for the most part.

Oh I agree, but for those 40 people (out of 300 or so) that came back, it didn't really matter at that point I think Smiley

Either way, let's see if Amsterdam will be any better Smiley

Your speecd was very interesting Elwar, thank you for that Smiley

We have some major gripes with how the event was organized and handled unfortunately, as you can read here :

http://www.cryptoarticles.com/crypto-news/bitcoin-expo-2015-review-horrible-organizational-skills-lead-to-a-lot-of-missed-opportunities

(Maybe there are factors in play we don't even know about yet)

I still believe in CryptoEvents, so let's hope they make the next event (in Amsterdam?) a better one.

I just want to thank the Bitcoin Expo folks for letting me give a talk on BitPools. I enjoyed meeting some nice folks and checking out London, they even helped to give me time to go tour the city by having a few hours of Altcoin talk.

You may want to re-name your next conference to the Crypto Expo, or Altcoin Expo though.

Pretty good start to the conference. Roger Ver gave a good talk.

I'm kinda frustrated with no wireless access, being in a foreign country with no phone service makes it difficult to spend bitcoins.

If you're at the conference, I'm wearing a dark blue shirt (light brown pants). I'm sitting in the "VIP" section up front, stop by and say hey.

I'll be there, what is a good hotel nearby? Or is the conference at/next to a hotel?

I'm staying at the Crestfield Hotel : http://www.crestfieldhotel.co.uk/

Very cheap and they have the accomodations I want so Smiley

Not bad, I would have gone with them if they had any rooms available on Expedia. But they are booked, and I like to use Expedia so I can pay with bitcoins Cheesy

Is this the address?
117 Wallis Road, Hackney Wick, Hackney, London E9 5LN

It is different from the location I saw on one of the maps for conferences.

I would rather get a hotel near the expo.

Well the hotel i'm in is near a tube station, so you can pretty much get anywhere from that location Smiley

Heck, you can even tag along with us if you want Smiley

Why are tickets for these events always so over priced last few I been to where worthless than nothing more than a get together with a bunch of speaker and nothing actually happened over than talks of new projects happening and other things that where already going on. I generally do not think I will go to another unless prices are a fair price and not over priced for tickets.

These "expo" are getting ridiculous. They just want to milk as much money as they can. LOL at their price....

our conference is freeee for everyone, we want more people out of the community to come..welcome you.

Its free but very limited what you get access to. I wouldn't mind putting my ideas and a few things forward for improvements, security, and actually getting Bitcoin more exposure and a lot of other things that could well improve Bitcoin as a whole across UK for England to actually use it more and then some. If I want to attend as a investor or VIP then I goto pay and to be honest this is stupid. Make it a flat fee of say £20 and a pass to all areas and you will find more attending them as they dont feel ripped off and £20 including pass and refreshments and some information booklets and stickers key-rings etc would be a nice feel to it too.
Thank you for your nice advice, maybe we will adopt your good advice next time Smiley
As for this London Bitcoin Expo, free ticket is able to full access to everywhere, so it is easy to foresee there will be many attendees but we may not have enough seat for everyone, if someone wants to have a better view, he can choose the VIP ticket to guarantee the seat in the front row. i think this would be fair to the people who paid. For investors, except the front seat, they can book the private meeting room to talk with startups. This is the difference of each ticket, if you want to share your ideas, please do not hesitate to contact me or our colleagues from our website http://bitcoinexpo2014.com. thank you.
