A pull back was predictable and predicted by the way. Looking at the one year chart, back to the 5k support line would not be a surprise. It is a rather healthy behaviour I think. Not that healthy for day traders I must admit, but long time hodlers should not be worried imo. I would start to worry below the 5.000-4.800 support line.
BTC may pull a rabbit out of a hat scalability wise soon as well.

The sentiment to me is that Bitcoin has still a way lot more exposure world wide than BCH, more use daily too. The bitcoin name is more printed in the collective subconscious than BCH. What's more, announcing BCH as the new 'Bitcoin' in the mainstream media would confuse general public only weeks after Bitcoin flooding media with its ATH. If it happens, it will be easy to see it coming too and stop loss before drama.
Already doubtful about the matter, general public would be even more concerned about volatility/stability of crypto currencies as a whole and this would harm everyone.

I doubt BTC stopped working on solving the scalability issue after announcing 2x cancellation. Everyrone was expecting an announcement so they had to announce something. It does not mean they won't announce something else soon.

My 5 cts on that but hey, it's bitcoin after all.

Well, i think despite the increasing dips happening to Bitcoin these days, bitcoin will still recover and become even more better after bitcoin comes out of these easy trials that it is currently going through right now. And i am pretty sure about that. All these price increases of bitcoin Cash and bitcoin gold are obviously just poor efforts of a pumping and dumping scheme to feed on small investor's money to feed the big whales running the pump. And after this is over, bitcoin will rise again breaking record by record.

We don't need to worry about the the falling price of bitcoin. But all we need to do is to wait again until bitcoin will increase. Holding is the best way to deal with the falling price of bitcoin.

Will one of these other two forked up BT something coins, take over Bitcoin? I would expect China (and indeed other countries) to ban ICOs in the shorter term until they can be more heavily regulated. IMO this is a good thing and will help weed out the scams and make us, the participants, more protected.

I absolutely agree that bitcoin is volatile and there are time that the price of bitcoin goes up and down. In addition to that, if the price of bitcoin dropped you must still hold it and wait for the right time sell your bitcoin. Do not ever do panic selling just hold it and gain high income.

The current correction might actually proof a really good and strong one from a technical perspective.

And regarding BCH, that increase is only fuelled by FOMO; it's gonna crash as hard as it came up when those emotional traders change their mind..

I think btc is just gaining its momentum, the best way is not to panic, just wait until the end of this month, just hold on to your bitcoin, now is the time to buy though, just concentrate in buying, we should be calm.

Bitcoin falling these day is because of hard fork schedule ahead? then its hardfork seems to be canceled? so people rather sell its coin to stay safe and the newbie got panic sell too? well they're kinda loss at some point when bitcoin prices goes up again

The current BTC price is $6k dollars, which is still 55% up from the price 2 month ago. Meaning overall BTC is still up and at least I am not worried at all regarding the BTC price, as long as it dows not hit rock bottom.

In my own opinion its not really bad to doubt sometimes if bitcoins will fail or not because no one know's what will really happen in the future, But the good thing is there are a lot of positive news coming from the best analyst about bitcoins.

bitcoin price is very low now due to the effection of the segwit2x cancellation, i stil can not believe bitcoin can drop so quickly like this, but it makes bitcoin cash rising more than 100% in today, so i think as soon as bitcoin cash drops down, bitcoin will rise again, so i will wait and hold my bitcoin.
