It doesn't matter, fud is always around, people need to start using bitcoin as payment method, that's it. but if everyone see bitcoin only as investment instrument it is doomed to fail.
Not only bitcoin, crypto market will fail if everyone is investing in it and no one is using it.

well no. Store of value. ala gold is sufficient.

i mean who buys stuff with actual gold, 5T market cap....why?

Bitcoin price drop is simply because of the law of supply and demand. If a bad news was released, many people want to get rid of the coins they have due to panic. Sometimes fud after fud comes out so all the more people lets go of their kept coins thus further lowering the value of bitcoin. So if more people sell, more bitcoins are available for sale. This lowers the demand for bitcoin resulting to decrease of its value. So to counter that, instead of selling our coins out of panic, we must buy more coins to leverage the amount of sold coins. We must do this together so that any fud or bad news won't affect the price of bitcoin. The price of bitcoin is in our hands. Let's help each other.

Yes, very good, if you don't sell then I won't sell either. Let's see if our combined 1.5 bitcoin can save the market

Sell it and forget about it.

Said the sore loser Wink

If the price falls just keep calm.Don't sell anything because you didn't lose anything until you sell bitcoins. If you can buy more and more bitcoins because the basic law to make money is buy low and sell high.

Thing is that there is a lot of dumb and new money coming in. All these new people have zero experience and knowledge of how investments work. So panic sell will just increase over time.

It's not a problem. You've just explained the situation to yourself. If the new inexperienced panickers are coming in then they will buy and sell, but never reach the real lows, like $3000 we had last year. If the laws of supply and demand are in place those new people will never be the reason the coin falls permanently. They will sell whatever they bought and that's it.

that's it?  Haha sell at lose then what? buy again? Lol actually pal if there's a fluctuations occur it doesn't mean it will continue to collapse. 'cause in fact its just a correction of price that always happen in the market,  and besides there's no logical reason for it to drop constantly,  so why sell? Lol

Bitcoin has never had a stable price. He's always up and down. No need to panic. We remember what price bitcoin had 10 years ago. Some people managed to buy pizza for 10,000 bitcoins. Everybody would think he was crazy today .with the fall of the course, you do not need to rush into the pool and sell your bitcoins. History knows the case when from 1711 to 1716 there was a financial pyramid called the company of the Southern Seas. Isaac Newton was involved in an attempt to get rich quick. In the end, lost almost all their savings. Before buying or selling you need to think about everything. The price of bitcoin will undoubtedly grow over time.We need to be patient and wait.

Just as said that the bitcoin price has been determined by the demand and supply. People have been easily manipulated by FUDS and it has contributed to the present bitcoin price dip. The only means of price appreciation now is the high influx of persons into the Cryptocurrency via the adoption of Bitcoin; purchase of altcoins.

It seems like that the recent fall is due to a disinvestment from MT. GOX. It that's true, the recent dip is not much of an issue
It depends. If they keep dumping, it keeps affecting the market, but if they took a temporary break, the demand should push the market back up again. If the price goes down anyway, then there is a lack of short term demand.

The thing is that we don't know if mtgox coins have been dumped this week or last week, unless they announce it afterwards themselves. We operate solely at their mercy in that regard.

I wonder if people here have been trying to find the addresses connected to the mtgox holdings. I tried to do some basic level research myself, but haven't found anything pointing at their coin stash(es).

I agree with you. Now we are all experiencing not the best of times. Demand for bitcoin has fallen, the price is also falling. People are less interested in bitcoin and crypto-currencies. But I'm not worried about this, because I'm sure everything will be fine, for the bitcoin is the future.

The best reaction is to keep calm. Besides, we can do nothing about it ourselves. Butcoin will always be undergoing fluctuations. We can never tell when its price will go up and down. We just have to be composure enough to cope up and deal with it wisely.

I agree with this, people tend to go panic as they see the price drop, they sell their bitcoins resulting to another price drop. They must be knowledgeable about trading and economic laws. I think we need to hold more to make the price at top again.

When the value of Bitcoin rises even though it is a hundred percent profit and is the highest value. So whenever there is a price decline do not panic and sell instantly because by selling it you will only lock yourself in to get an upcoming profit, we do not need to panic and sell our shares just because a few drops.

So with the fall of Bitcoin should not be a thing to be feared for going up again. there are several factors that affect the uncontrolled value of Bitcoin and all we can do is hope it increases.

It's hard to use as a payment processor since it showed the fee is too high comparing to real payment processors like Paypal. I don't think it will be useful in future or act as a payment processor as per the fee.

These are a couple of the biggest hurdles bitcoin faces if people are only hodling bitcoin for investment purposes it is going to affect the supply as more will be locked in people's wallets. Fees will be a issue as like said PayPal has no fee for buying and mining would be pointless if they were no longer getting anything from transactions.

More and more standardization and regulation of the price of bitcoin occurs. Interestingly, he will return to its original value?

No one knows but if people continues to react on this way its possible go deeper this year. Hopefully, bitcoin can survive on this situation its a pump and dump but I'm still bullish that in the end of the year, bitcoin will reach a new all time high.

The best part when the price drops is we can buy Bitcoin in cheaper price. So we don't have to panic and sell our stocks just because of some drops. Remember that Bitcoin already had this situation where there are corrections happened, yet Bitcoin still surpass those circumstances and even grow after those drops.

any long-term investor buys in a dip market for 2 things - to make the purchase price lower with Average Cost and get more coin in chip for long-term holding. I think that is the best way to react for a situation like this.

As well as the last time, this is a normal situation. There are strange things: when the dollar depreciates, people are like "oh, it's dollar depreciation.. i'll just go and eat something". When the BTC depreciates: "Oh my got, what i have to do now? It's the end of the world, i was so young".
