While Bitcoin isn't being used yet for official ticket booking, we might still use it for booking tickets. Bitcoin was meant to be used as a payment method.
If you know a broker who accepts Bitcoin as a payment then you might book the tickets from him or else you can find a person who can buy the tickets in the fiat currency in exchange for Bitcoin. I am sure there will be many people willing to buy the tickets for you. You can put it up in the services section.

Their Official site says, " All major Credit cards, PayPal and in some countries, Direct Bank transfers are accepted. " So NO, Bitcoin is not listed as one of the payment methods. I see some of the matches is almost sold out.  Roll Eyes

I figure a lot of tickets will become available on the Black markets and these guys might accept Bitcoin as a payment option. In many of these events there are a lot of fake tickets sold, so be very careful.  Wink
Unfortunately ..... because bitcoin still can not be used to buy tickets when bitcoin can be used this will help increase the price of bitcoin

I do not think anything very big like the world cup will receive a payment in bitcoin to pay for the tickets they sell. If this is in another country already accept bitcoin as Japanese currency and you can be sure that they accept bitcoin as payment as we will see.

The owner of the Dallas Mavericks basketball club Mark Cuban has just written in his microblogging that from the next season it will be possible to purchase tickets for NBA matches using bitcoin.

The idea is good, but it is always dependent upon the issue on the Event Manager if they will allow the purchase of tickets using Bitcoin transaction, even the Government Regulation on the place, Russian Government still looking into the Regulation of Bitcoin trading in the market or other Business establishment. Lets, hope that they will allow the purchase of tickets for such event using the Bitcoin.

Original thought
bitcoin is not considered a currency by the Russian government (I think they consider it as a commodity but I am not sure) so I do not think something huge like World Cup in Russia is going to accept payments in bitcoin for the tickets they sell. if this was in another country that has already accepted bitcoin as a currency such as Japan you can be sure that they will accept bitcoin as payment as we will see in 2 years (?) when the Olympics starts there.

Essentially Plaigiarism

I think bitcoin can not be considered as a currency by the Russian government but I think they just think of it as a commodity, but I'm not sure. So I do not think something very big like the world cup will receive payment in bitcoin to pay for the tickets they sell. If this is in another country already receive bitcoin as japanese currency and you can be sure that they receive bitcoin as payment as we will see in the next 2 years when the world olympics are there. Thanks

Just putting this together to submit a report to MODS.

indeed there is no shade purchasing tickets with bitcoin, but if the transaction is done by individuals I think it is possible because the transaction is easier without having to go through a difficult bureaucracy like queuing at the counter

Bitcoin is a currency so why not.
Buy you cannot buy directly. You will need to transact with a third party to buy it. Someone or a company who is willing to accept bitcoin as payment in exchange for them buying it with whatever payment system the ticketing wants.
I bet it will be expensive and also they will add some payments for that including conversions and risks of accepting bitcoin.

It is possible to set up a service for the planning team to accept bitcoins for purchase, but all come to play depends on the view the government of Russia have on cryptocurrency. If it will be willing to accept it ,then is possible.

It is true that there will soon be soccer matches for the whole world or the world cup, and that I think could affect the bitcoin price increase with big deals in ticket purchases and more.
