They keep asking me to purchase a physical card to use the wallet. How did you manage to import your seed there?
I looked everywhere in their website and tutorials and wasn't able to find. I also turn expert mode on, but it didn't change anything.
Ballet Wallet asks that you scan the QR code of the public key contained on the front surface of their cards. The QR code is simply the wallet address starting with a 1xxxx... (please correct the terminology for this next portion). Under the peel off section is the priv key that corresponds to the public key. The sticker hasn't been removed, your funds are safe. To redeem funds via a Ballet Wallet, peel the sticker off and scan the QR code for the priv key (again, there's no secret add on contained in the QR code - it's just the priv key).
The Ballet Wallet will ask for the "secret passphrase" located under the scratch off section located directly under the QR code. I haven't done the scratch off part of my cards, however, from screen shots I've seen it looks like this is something that only the Ballet Wallet can decode - sort of like a two of two combined wallet addresses (feel free to clarify the terminology).
Put another way, I am assuming that the three components, priv key, password and the Ballet Wallet App are combined in a blender to verify you are in control of the card and want the funds released.
As well as Bitcoin and corresponding forked coins, you can add (just to name a short few) Tron, Doge, Ether (and a truck load of ERC20 tokens) to the wallet app and recover with the one priv key and password (?? part private ??) code. You can both buy and sell funds within the app via credit card, or swap via DEX style exchanges.
If I can make a suggestion, because you can have multiple wallets (cards) perhaps start a new wallet with a public/private key pair and (without sending any funds to it) see what it asks you to do when you try to send funds (i.e. does it ask for a priv key and password ??)
