i think that the bitcoin future is very bright and such a minor problems will be solved very soon. i am hopeful that very soon people will be using bitcoin as fiat for buying and selling thing, but i think it will take some more time as still a very little number of people are using bitcoin.

Very interesting if Japan has made breakthrough progress in advance, I think they just used momentum from China, keep in mind if we talk about marketing plan, bitcoin future is very bright due to surge in the volume of outstanding, it is a success uncontested, if someday bitcoin shrink, will not reducing value of the currency itself. There is nothing better than this.

As long as there's no negative news that will impact the bitcoin ecosystem, I think bitcoin market price will continue to rise in the next months or so. If you would remember, the BU vs Core drama has is over for now and Japanese market come into picture, so making the price of bitcoin gain momentum for us. So yes, bitcoin future is very bright and we might experience a new ATH end of the year ($1500-$2000).

Affirmative, it's been knocking at the door for far too long and I hope people will start adopting it like their local gust because it's proven beyond reasonable doubt that it's the proof of future currency even though it's got it's own challenges but I'm positive about its future.

Yes bitcoin is currency, but in the future it will remain as digital currency and much better to be digital currency. I do not like bitcoin as centralized currency because it will be under constitutional which is having a tax and the value is too higher than we expect.

I wont risk too much here, since the split will happen sooner or later and price should reflect those split, i had imagined bitcoin to reach easy 5000 dollars on the next 10 years with the split i believe it will reach maybe 2000 dollars.

Technology updating based on the growth experienced is a must for a successful future. Now itself it is getting used as a currency and the transaction delay seems to be a long time problem. This will be easily sought out in the future.

I'm hoping the community will come together and figure out a way to set aside their differences without breaking the chain that's been developed so far. But, it looks like there may be a fork looming but that's just a natural consequence built into human nature. Religions fork, cultures fork, governments fork, species fork,...etc. Sometimes forks are necessary for survival.

You can't really determine the future of bitcoins but you can just gives speculation based on what is happening to it now. But in the long run there would be some "unexpected circumstances" that may occur thus making bitcoins either progresses or just go down. It just like how you see yourself 10 or 20 years in the future.

Well the only sure now is that bitcoin need to find easy solutions to handle the problems caused with the possible split into two different coins, as well split the community, we are stronger together. In the past i were sure bitcoin would stand for severals years, nowadays not soo sure.

makes sense really , altcoin have advanced technology to solve the fee problem ,
when bitcoin now still struggling to decide about blocks expansion ,
look at dogecoin , it has really really low fee compared to bitcoin ,
people will use it later if bitcoin situation not getting better.

By asking about it being future proof or not.
Then I think that it will last longer.
It may even become the most used currency in the world in some time.
Until there will be some technology invented better than it.
But you can never predict something,
Because the market is very volatile.

That's right until WWIII occur, mass banned among governments worldwide, the unacceptance of bitcoin towards new potential users, and the lost faith of bitcoin users against bitcoin. There's no such thing which could always survive in this world. Everything has its own point where it will eventually be dead. As for now, bitcoin already have some kind of competition with those newly developed altcoins and the competition happen in many sectors, not only the value of coins themselves.
