Of course, this is very good news for all supporters of cryptocurrency, and this will give us the opportunity to see an increase in prices for all cryptocurrencies.
Bitcoin's future will more likely bright when the positive motivation will spread in this field. The current price of bitcoin is grown rapidly, so we can't determine on when the market stability occur. But if it will start pumping up, then the bright future will stunned individually.

The future looks brighter for bitcoin mining and other mineable altcoins out there ,like cryptonight and ethash ,IT companies are already rushing to start manufacturing 7nm chips and hardwares that would be based on those, this is good news cos with 7nm mining will be profitable again and AMD too among others is already producing 7nm based GPU with 48cores ,I thought mining was done for, another one again is a based Japan company called GMO internet group, they are already working on new ASICS with same 7nm chips that will deliver 10TH/S with power consumption of only 500watts which is twice as efficient as bitmains Antminer s9 that draws 1,372 watts with output of 14TH/S , its not the end but the beginning as we will see bitcoin breaking the TeraHash boundary and GPUs with 7nm? Miners will be happy about this. What are your thoughts about this ?

How do you see it? I really hope that your statement is correct for us early adopters be rewarded in the end for our persistent in cryptocurrency even though we have a lot of problems to face right now.

It's a great theory, but unfortunately, as the last two years have shown, it was naive to believe in it. Those who adhered to this theory could not realize that such a comparison was not entirely correct.

The 7nm chips might be sustainable to mine bitcoins and other cryptos now but what about the time in future when mining difficulty has been raised again.
It would again be inconvenient to mine bitcoins unless these tech companies continue to provide such support to mine bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies with increased efficiency and less power consumption. Only then the future will be bright for bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.
Hopefully there is such thing happen and therefore crypto will sustain its popularity and could still manage to prolong its life.
Mining sector will optionally decrease its mining tools and equipment if there is no support coming from the community as well as from the government. But if there is, then surely crypto will grow strong and extend its purpose and popularity.

Something like this will happen. It's just a matter of time. As far as I know, the biggest price rises to date have coincided with the periods of technological development.

I don't get what you're all on about the new miners will replace the others, the amount of electric will remain the same as the hash rate goes up but form factor and machine wattage is the same. Difficulty will adjust and the only difference is the old hardware will be antiquated and be forced to move to some random altcoins or retired.

A sensible comment...

Improvements like this are predicted to happen because Companies now knows what will the big benefits if they will create such mining unit, Of course, they are always looking for improvements and bitcoin mining is one of their goals to compete with other big companies.

Obviously bitcoin can be relied on for the future because we see from 2011 that the price per bitcoin is four million and we all know the price of the next five years reaches three hundred million ... what are you waiting for to start investing in bitcoin

That's just a part of problem. Increased efficiency is good for miners. This will make the market more attractive. But we need more investors and bitcoin have to be be more popular. As more countries legalize bitcoin, it will be good for the future of bitcoin.

The problem is most of the manufacturing of these ASIC chips are done in China. The people in other countries will have to come up with something to compete with China, because we cannot afford to have the mining scene being dominated and possibly being monopolized by one country.

Any monopoly will drive up prices for these chips, because they have nobody that can compete with them. You also cannot have only one source for mining hardware, globally.  Tongue
