For some extend I accept your perspective towards bitcoin considering current and past nature of bitcoin prices and the way people interacted with it but we should always understand this is not the main idea that bitcoin was invented in the first place it's vision was very different. So if you really seek an answer it lies within each and every person's intention how they are willing to use bitcoin as a currency for future payments or huge casino.

I think bitcoin to become future money is not easy because it need regulatation from the government but just a few countries can do that, still many countries are not accept bitcoin so people who live in the country not accept bitcoin only can use bitcoin as investment. might will need a long time for bitcoin can be used as a payment.

Bitcoin isnt totally stabilised imho,while a number of regulations could see the capacity of the coin being improved on,that doesnt absolutely mean it has the potential to be as long standing as other forms of currencies that we have seen..So i wouldnt classify it as a future money but a casino dominated by whales
