Please where did you read that the majority of the people dropping bitcoin presently are the long time holders? Any reliable link source as a proof? This kind of fall in price is not unusual, considering the recent falls. The price will still rise.

Long term holders who panicked are in for a big shock. They sold too early. Should’ve waited a for few more months. Well, maybe they have some valid reason or an urgent need for the money.

Honestly this was expected and many were wanting this to happen as because as per the technical analysis almost all the experts(so called)i have known they said to have strong comeback of bitcoin we need to hit the low of 6k or even below 6k. And that is what we are witnessing so hold your nerves and keep your belief in bitcoin it will shine again for sure.

Hi there First77! Have you recently read or hear the #00000000000000000021e800c1e8df51b22c1588e5a624bea17e9faa34b2dc4a? If not so I think that is the reason why most of the people in the last two or three days have panicked and sell a huge amount of their possessions. Some say, the bitcoin system has been cracked by a quantum computer by a bunch of hackers, while other said that Satoshi could have been around and create something. While most of the people are afraid of the news, other see it possitively. If you have seen that the sentiment of the people will about to sell, it is really better to sell ahead of time, why? so that you could buy when the price seems to go up again. It is a trading strategy.

zzzzz...... this is nothing new. Go back and look at past charts, This crash still hasn't reached original MT GOX levels yet. The price right now is concerning for many miners I know. They are at a point where they are barely breaking even.

Thats also my major concern. Miners are hardly making any profit and on that there are no new miners getting into Bitcoin. Most of the new miners are getting into either Zcash or ETH.

I feel the fluctuations are normal. Indian market got hit yesterday and the price was near to 5600-5700$ which is still there.

Bitcoin is hopefully gonna revert back from this support zone. $5900 got enough buy volume to stop Bitcoin from dipping further. Bears are gonna exhaust at this level. But the fact remains is whether market can turn up to bullish reversal anytime soon. With such a market manipulation and lack of volume, I doubt if institutional investors are ready to put in their money in cryptocurrencies. Market needs volume to show any uptrend in future. With a transition from hodlers to speculators, market is expected to suffer with lack of volume.

Also, it's a long term investment. People were treating it as such for many years. Short term price doesn't matter as long as there's a recovery at some point. If we go below the entry point of Japan and Korea, which is somewhere around 4000 USD you can start worrying, but for now it's all fine.

I have yes, and to me it appears as we are at a triple bottom with the 6k line. But please tell me why is 4k the spot where we should freak out? Was there a ton of entries at that point? And where could I see this data if true. Please and thank you!

Yep the ones who have been in the crypto space from a very long time really know how volatile bitcoin is and how frequently does its value fluctuate from 0-100 in no time!

So this is not a new thing for the market, in fact such kinda market behavior has been observed in the market earlier as well!

What I think this is the right time for people to buy and invest in bitcoins. Because the price right now is facing an extreme correction period. It may rise in near future...just hoping for the best!
