There is no way that I am going to believe anything that comes off here, and that went for the original claims that the wallet was out there too. it is simple that the majority of those that are involved with crypto are running on very little real information. The prices are moved based on such a small amount of real information that there is a miracle out there somewhere that the exchanges ever got off the ground.

Is true? I highly doubt it because this could really damaged the reputation of the coin. Although it really gain enough traction from the community, news like this will really sunk this coin. And why would bitcoin gold team will really hire such kind of person to be part of their team? No need to create FUD on this coins, because it will die a natural death anyways, so let it be.

This wouldn't surprise me in the slightest though.

@mindrust is right, if the project is good, and open-source, validated, etc, then who the founder is should not invalidate the project.

Fascinating how this young man has so much knowledge that feels like he almost single-handedly managed to code all the necessary changes in BTG. The responsibility is immense. The whole worlds is looking at him now. There is a reason why all this is happening. We just don't know or will never know the full extent of this BTG endeavour.

I don't believe this news. It seems that is too easy to create a fork on the most important crypto coin of the world.

Anything started and run by Chinese will be crap and always will be crap mainly due to the controlled environment they are in. I had mentioned earlier on itself that the entire crypto currency world would be much better off without the Chinese involved. This is mainly due to the greedy and selfish attitude of Chinese mainly motivated through financial gains other than anything else. Its a dog eat dog world out there and they don't have the luxury to think about the well being of the humanity.

Even if people dump Bitcoin gold and so on, the group is quite clever and will accumulate a whole load of coins through BS such as pre-mining and so on and make off with a hefty profit and leave people with empty paper bags. They will themselves be the first to dump their coins and make off with untraceable Bitcoins.

Bitcoin gold developers cannot be trusted no matter what because they have come to the main picture out of nowhere and they expect people to support them and believe in their "promises". It's technically not a ico by any means,but the doubt on whether it's a scam or not is not yet proven with solid proof.

I hope you did a lot of research about this and can provide any other proofs than this one. Because this thing you are dong can destroy the image of bitcon gold. Although i don't have it, i do not have anything against it. But given the proper evidences, i will also spread the news so everyone will know. But until you cam provide better proofs, i do not care. If you don't like bitcoin gold, get rid of it. But don't go spitting out crap about bitcoin gold if you don't have enough evidence.

Exactly. BTG will be dumped by Bitcoiners, dumped by miners, dumped by the dev if he did premine.
It didn't start with the hype BCH had, so the starting price is already lower. So the first month(s) will be downside.

Then.. there's Bitcoin. And there are quite a number of alts trying to claim a spot high in the ranks. The competition is huge, so only good papers are not enough nowadays.
The few that believe in BTG (if any) will have tough days. But I still tend to believe that it's only a get rich quick scheme and in the not so far future it will struggle to stay on the markets.

It doesn't matter, BTG will be a gold mine for miners anyway, lmao. I promise I will mine the shit out from the beginning.

Everything about btg looks good on the spec sheet. I mean, bitcoin gold is our dream come true.

They got segwit, gpu mining, no blocksize increase, no Bitmain, no Roger&Jihan&Craig, no drama, no bullshit.

On the paper, bitcoin gold is the ultimate crypto currency. The only thing btg doesn't have, is the dev team of bitcoin and that makes a real difference.

I don't know who the lead dev of btg is, I don't know if he is a scammer or not, I don't know if the btg team is after something bad... Even if they were after something bad, think about it, how bad can it be? They don't even share the same mining algo with bitcoin. They only took a snapshot of the bitcoin chain and started to build up their own chain from there.

Some say, they premined hundreds of coins before launch. Well, So did satoshi. As long as those coins don't  move to manipulate the markets, there is nothing to worry. This is the only drawback of btg i can think of. (Other than not having a professional dev team like bitcoin core)

Anyway, You got your btg's for free. Don't like it? Dump it away!

Btg probably won't ever come near of bitcoin but I won't dump mine from these prices neither. I won't dump them for a few hundred bucks. Doesn't make sense.

P.S. I dumped my bcash as soon as I could. It was a different situation.

P.S.2. Would I buy any bitcoin gold coins from these prices? Probably not. Probably not even half of its current price. But this is because I don't buy altcoins at all. Not eth, not ltc, nothing. The only coin I am considering seriously other than bitcoin is Monero at the moment. Even then, I havent bought any xmr yet.

If this is true, it's crazy lol But to be honest, all this forking is just insane and has just the purpose to raise the btc price and make some nice extra money with the fork coins.
