The fork is a clone of the original blockchain and you will receive the same amount of coins in you BTG wallet.

As long as you have your coin in a wallet that gives you control of your private keys or a wallet that promises to give you the other side of the forked chain, and you have at least 1 satoshi before the fork, then yes, you will receive the equivalent of BCG.

Just transfer your BTC to a desktop wallet like Electrum if you are really worried. You basically get BTG as long as you hold the private key to your wallet. What does the expert say?

I am not sure about bitcoin gold fork but b2x for the November segwit2x fork one of the largest exchange hitbtc already announced support and it will be tradble in their exchange. Also people will get b2x for the bitcoin holding in hitbtc at the time of fork.

bitcoin gold's amonut depand on how many bitcoin you have in your wallet for example if you have 0.000001bitcoin you will have 0.000001 bitcoin gold
