All the way from $480 to $159  Embarrassed

There is no reason this coin will not fix what has to be fixed and will take advantage of the fork hype

Personally, it didn't bother me when the price crashes when the fact that we have it as a free coin so it's not that important.
Maybe I be bothered when I bought that and it crashes that hard, it's kinda disappointing. As I can see there's only a little support that this coin gained and this all just a hype from the whales.

What did Bitcoin Gold do? Who started using it? Bitcoin Gold emerged as a result of unnecessary division, Bitcoin and Altcoin prices became cluttered. Bitcoin 's reputation has diminished.

not it has not yet happened. the hard fork is apparently scheduled to happen on November 1. what is already over is the block that they used as their reference for distributing the BTG coins.

you can already see what the bitcoin price is!
and you can also see the BTG price which is very different in different exchanges. i have not checked bitfinex yet but in yobit it was 0.08BTC=456$
If that is correct that seems like a great opportunity to do some arbitrage between the exchanges, unfortunately I’m not into that kind of thing so I wont be able to take advantage of that opportunity but I’m sure there are any people in the forum that could do it if they have the right tools and knowledge.

the coin is not released yet. these exchanges only gave their users some promised fake tokens which will only work on their platforms so that you can trade them.

in other words there is no blockchain available for you to buy at one place then transfer the tokens using the BTG network to other exchange to sell. that is why the difference exists!

I heard it forked two months ago even before the creators even announced it.
I don't believe in this fakeness they pulled thinking they can do what bch did months back in June.

Sure that segwit2x is much more anticipated event from the point of view of price-movement. As the market has not reacted on this  bit-gold fork at all.
For those who bought BTC at 6000 willing to get BTG I wish to have patience. Everything will be OK with btc price. That's my bet.

According to freebitcoin as of October 18 the hard fork will took place somewhere in the middle of November so I think what we are seeing today is a sort of preparation for the upcoming fork maybe developers are preparing the market of bitcoin gold that's why we can see it in some exchanges site. Just in case it happen I don't think the value of bitcoin will be affected

I don't even know that there's another fork going to happen last time I receive 0.0075 bitcoin cash but now I don't have any BTC to earn free money again. But for the pricing of btc it will not affect the price of the current price of BTC cause some will just throw away their btg like what happened in bitcoin cash.

P.S I hope I will received bitcoin to feel the presence of this new coin.

It is stated in the news that it has occured.
What will be to BTC price?

BT Gold is traded at Bitfinex at 159 USD

Bitcoin would would go down like Bitcoin cash did last fork. Most of the hodlers of Bitcoin that got some chunk of bitcoin cash did sold their BCH instantly and trading it to BTC. The price of btc would regulate after the fork by my speculation.

To have it on free and to buy it is two different thing and that matters. I do have those but I decided of dumping it as long it arrives to my wallet. I don’t have any intention to hold for it for the same time I do with bitcoin Cash. Bitcoin Gold has the tendency to be on the same situation with bitcoin cash or much worst.

Don’t get yourself in a difficult scene, don’t attempt or even tried to buy any forking coin, we should not support this kind of coins that is mad to endanger bitcoin value. If we do that, it will be the reason for them to stop of this forking.

I intentionally left some bitcoins that i had in some exchanges so that i could have some bitcoin gold, i missed out on having bitcoin cash just because i stored all my bitcoin in my bitcoin core software so i will not this pass me by.

If you had your coins in your own wallet then you DO HAVE ACCESS to Bitcoin Cash. All Bitcoins got forked to Bitcoin Cash. The exchange owners just kept all the forked BCC for themselves if they didn't give it to their users.

Its too risky to gamble your money with sprout btc clones. I alread dumped mine and bought BTC. Look what happened to BCH. I guess BTG would have the same fate as BCh.

Agreed. BTG will suffer the same fate as BCH. Hype is all there is to it and nothing more. Free token for every Bitcoin you have seems good but in the long run it is not profitable.

Those who are buying bitcoin gold in yobit or in other exchanges are because they love the risk in where they are involving theirselves. I dumped my btg when i received them, and for a fair rate, but it is 1000 times more volatile than bitcoin, everybody is selling their coins, and a lot are buying them, this means that a lot of people are trying to speculate with the price and praying for it to go up for some bucks.
I dont trust in any coin who came from a fork, any of them.

It's so surprising that Bitcoin Gold did not made any noise of some sort that made Bitcoin go down drastically. It would seem that Bitcoin Gold does not have many supporters, I suppose. I think that Bitcoin Gold will not affect Bitcoin's price that much. We've seen that Bitcoin achieved another all time high even though a hard fork was about to get underway within the next days then, so why would it affect now, right?
That is what we are also expecting that bitcoin gold is not going to effect the price fo bitcoin. i am sure that bitcoin will continue its progress in a better way and we can still expect more all time high level from bitcoin to achieve from time to time. Hope that bitcoin will remain as number one crypto currency throughout the world for a long long time.

Bitcoin Gold Fork was yesterday but i dont believe anyone has received their coins yet.
They certainly have.
They've been selling like demons on YoBit, Binance and HitBTC.

Maybe not HitBTC yet.

Well yobit has stolen the star, they have gotten a bad market.
I would not bet, when fork is finished then the price is no longer attractive.
because they have ruined it in the beginning. I will immediately throw it away. back to another altcoin. Grin

Exactly, bitcoin gold has appeared more quietly, let's say so, than bitcoin cash and made less mess. Like it almost didn't happen. It's so quiet like everyone is still expecting to happen and this isn't all. And the price of bitcoin gold is small and it will dump more very soon. I think the begininig of November will not change much.

Couldn't you just use the seed on another wallet to get BCC?
