Do you think that Bitcoin Gold has a long term future as the BCH style or, on the contrary, it is best to sell them and forget them?
Thank you

When taking in account the historical data, I would say it is worth holding and possibly if you have spear time short time trading.

Since it is given to you for free, why don't you try risking holding it for at least a month or two. By that time, perhaps we could already see whether it is a good coin or not. Or another option would be to sell the one half and hodl the other half. Who knows it would follow the path of Bitcoin Cash? So that you will not end up regretting try to leave some for hodling. These early days are basically for dumping.
We couldnt tell if bitcoin gold good for a long term future like bch. You have a point since its free the good thing to do is to take risks for waiting to hold atleats months because thats the time we will see if we can earn. And if you dont like for holding then sell it, it actually depends ofcourse on a person.

Bitcoin gold is just like an ICO if you really believe on this technology then support it, you are right that its really depend on the trading strategy of one person and beside bitcoin gold is a free coin so nothing to loose, but if you are planning to invest and its up to you. But for me if i just get bitcoin gold for free then i will hodl it.

You should sell as soon as possible. This coin is dying. It might live for a few months before eventually just becoming dust.
I have no idea why or on what basis all the people who just posted saying that it will increase in price/you should hold it or whatever is in that meaning.

I mean if a coin is publicly known to be premined by the devs for a couple thousand coins and you're telling the op to hold, then you're either totally out of your mind or just have no idea what you're talking about.

First of all, let me tell you that I actually like the concept of making a similar currency to bitcoins that is mineable by the the majority of the crypto community using GPU cards. But since they announced on their twitter account that there WILL actually be premine, it just threw me away and made me treat it the exact same way I treated BCH.

I dumped all of the coins that I got from the fork. In fact, I was holding btc just for the sake of the fork but when I heard about the premine I sold them as I don't want some useless shitcoins.

Devs are trying all they can to pump the coin. At the moment BCH is getting a bit shiny and they're trying to hold onto the train.
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin-gold/

It got pumped from $127 to $250 hoping that people will actually buy it. But I guess it backfired as everyone knows that the fate of this coin is to keep going down and stay there until it gets pumped every few months.

Days will prove what I said.

i think you should not sell your Bitcoingolds because even the passing of bitcoin in its name is enough to gain value these days

I do not think that it is so simple. I understand your point, what
happened with BCH is not cause of same name, some people made
huge effort do push price so high.
But who knows who is behind that bitcoin gold, we will see couple
more forks, and couple more coins, some of them will gain value with
time, and it is good to hold any coins you have.
I see myself as a holder, and I have some gold tokens from that fork
but just a little, I will hold them, but I do not plan to buy more of it. My
goal are some other alt-coins.

I think bitcoin gold has its time to pump the price like bch. Yet we have many speculation so you can hold and wait for the price to grow and sell it when you are already earning.

I personally decided to hold it for long. As we see and learn from bitcoin cash holding bitcoin forks is good idea as you can never know if its going to be pumped. You can see it right after pump.

this is my theory also, hold them for medium term as anything could
happen just like Bitcoin Cash. I was one who was really thinking
Bitcoin Cash was going to fail and I have been proven wrong . . . . .

so far  Huh
I agree Its a good way to make a quick profit but you really need to know how to read the markets to avoid holding coins that might have dropped value from when you bought them because volatility is high with BCH

I think many people are waiting for repeating BCH bull trend in BTG. I think it  could be. I'm waiting for some price correction before to buy some BTG and will wait until another big exchange will list BTG.

I advice to sell and forget.  This project claimed to give individuals good opportunities on mining, as bitcoin is now profitable for mining farms. Some people say that for now it is profitable to mine it. I don't know about that, but undefined number of coins and problems with determining the official airdrop providing btg (it's a story from the past) are not saying anything in favor of the coin. Bch is supported by South Koreans as well as by some believers in original Nakamoto's plans for bitcoin. BTG is a vague and risky project. It's a bit down in price. Just wait for it to go a bit up and sell.

I think Bitcoin Gold will be in a better position than Bitcoin Cash. You can understand this by looking at Bitcoin Gold's technology. I think it's really profitable in mining.

I sold it in the first day of trading in the exchange.
So did I and at quite decent price, I must add Smiley
I'm not much of a trader so no use from it to me, I was thinking to hodl for a moment though.
However long downloads and sync stuff scared me off... and than that unknown(for me) coinomi wallet, all this made me sell on the spot
(inside coinomis inbuilt exchange and that was pretty good experience)
Now knowing that this mentioned wallet is actually OK, I would lean at hodl more likely Wink

You should sell it as fast as you can or just try to trade it into other coin if you can and know how to do it.

I love BTG not because it is a good coin but brilliant for day trading.

I play percentages as long as price stay in $200 to $300 range very good to make gains on swings during the day.

However I will ever go to bed keeping BTG  Cool Cool Cool Cool
