I do not see bitcoin is useless, All coins or electronic currencies in cryptocurrency is essential since there is a good marketing happening with this.
In can be able to promote the cryptocurrency in different countries cross over the world which will increase the community of using this services.

There was a pretty big premine on BTG and the founder was asking for devs to help make simple additions to the protocol. That made me just decide to not even touch it with a ten foot pole.
Realize anyone can fork bitcoin in 5 minutes (if experience). These forks are mostly scams people use to make quick profit and probly buy more BTC.

I remember having regrets not buying btg when it was just as you said, a penny. I ignored it because upon release it was at 700$ but after a day, it dropped to .6$ i think. It was that low and not many traders wanted to buy it. But when it spiked to at least 400$, many traders had their regrets also, stating that they did not expect the price to hit that high. Sometimes 1 negativity will spread but for those who know how to read the marketcap, it is just another step for a good investment.
These so-called IFO are worthless and useless. It's a scam, and everyone who buys will lose their money.

In my own opinion bitcoin is not useless in our society. The mere fact is bitcoin plays a big role which helps the society to establish a civilize
system and the government to make the process more convenient and systematic. Bitcoin helps every people in the society to make their lives more better than before.

Bitcoin Gold is not useless. I am sure that we will see some nice development and good prices in the next couple of months

Major forks of BTC are far from useless. In fact they end up being top ten or top 5 which is quite the opposite. BTG hit over $600 today and it isnt live yet. I am sure it may dump soon for profit taking but who knows how high it will go first. I got a good amount of them and havent even accessed them yet. I will wait. f it goes high enough I may sell a third of them and hold the rest long term.
Look what happened to BCH. 4--to 900 down to 300 and today it hits 1400 and over 5 billion volume with 21 billion market cap.
Coins created from hard fork with bitcoin name are more likely than others to flip BTC. Most other alts dont have the power to topple BTC but seeing BTC cash make a run like this makes me think it is possible someday.

Because the bitcoin gold was same with another shit bitcoin clone, You can see a lot of crap coin has used the bitcoin's name and i think that will not be surprised for me to see the bitcoin gold gets dumped a lot.

It only destroys and makes bitcoin weaker. The last hard fork is definitely useless and does not mean anything to bitcoin. The upcoming hard fork is more important than anything

To be honest I regret that i did not capitalise on this opportunity , because why not?
