Well my BtStamp withdrawal  just failed. Not locked, failed!!  Roll Eyes  not cool at all, but hey... I've lost websites to incompetent hosts in the past of early internet so... early adopter have to live with such quirks.

Any idea when this will calm down? stratum still under attack?

You sure it isn't a problem on Bitstamps end?

How about bter? I got some btc on there , anyone been able to withdraw? I know I could 2 days ago , didn't try now

Maybe you should check first?
I'm afraid it'll be stuck or something

Do you need to withdraw it or are you just worried? I'd leave it there for the time being, but you can go check if it's possible to withdraw but not actually go through with it.
I'm just worried that's all , no need to withdraw yet. It don't block the withdraw page in any way , seems like it's possible but i'm afraid to try it , what if it gets lost

I doubt it will get lost. Just wait if there's no need to withdraw it.

don't store BTC in virtual wallet.
always retrieve in bitcoin-QT or android wallet for example ...

That's what I do. Haven't lost a Satoshi yet.

selling at a loss is not good. so these exchanges and web wallets holding your funds is actually going to stop those that panic, from doing something stupid.

bitcoin will rise again and correct itself, and in a few months the price will be higher.

so the simple solution is to not panic about the price changes every hour.. the only risk is if the exchange is not legitimate.

I can't comprehend why people would sell their coins at a loss.

Same. If the value falls, just hold them till you're in profit again.

Hello,

every exchanges and blockchain wallets has been blocked and bitcoins are now held from these companies waiting to resolve some issues.

Does anyone have an idea about how long could it take? Is possible that bitcoin crashes in this days before withdraw will be allowed again?

Is anyone stealing our bitcoins?

IMHO exchanges should block immediatly trading.
I've a lot of bitcoins in my pc wallet and I have no way to sell it.

Nobody is stealing coins. People need to stop panicking. This whole commotion was caused entirely by gox.

If you aren't the sole controller of your private keys, you don't have any bitcoins.
