Here in Philippines, were just less than $50 away in hitting $16k mark. As of now we're ahead of more than $500 in bitcoinaverage and bitstamp.

Edit: Just in. We've hit $16000 mark. We are now at $16003.78 here in the Philippines.

It will go up more be prepare as some banks are investing on market for the end of the year and who knows some of them will gonna choose bitcoin, it will bring a big pump so hold on more guys!

What if the banks and big financial institutions are already invested secretly that's why the price is pumping so hard. I don't see any particular reason for the price to get this big without any driving force behind it. Regular traders won't do the cut, even the whales of this ecosystem can't also shell out that big so the rest of the assumptions are directed towards financial magnates that despised bitcoin a year ago and now is seeing a huge profit potential for the phenomenon. The next year will be the ultimate deciding factor whether this "bubble" would hold.

will  bitcoin continue to increase its value before the end of the year? do you think it will not be affected by the hacking of nicehash?
It's already in 15,474 USD, and yes definitely dude it will increase it's value until year end not only on this year end but those coming years definitely the price of bitcoin will rise up i'm sure.
And those hackers have no effect on bitcoins ecosystem, i have full trust on bitcoin  Wink

it seems to me that 20 000 to the new year is quite realistic, I'm afraid to guess how much it will be by the end of next year

Afraid or excited?

If we can hit 17-20k by the end of the year and it still has huge demand next year we're looking at 50k+ this time next year.

I agree, although the volatility of Bitcoin is very high but this season there's no sign of Bitcoin's dumping. As long as blockchain in untouchable by hackers then people assume that this is the most secure and more safe investment that will give people the opportunity to get more profit than investing into local businesses.

The thing is there is soooo much demand, the majority of users are newbies to crypto land, so they will just be holding. It would need a HUGE amount of people to cause a big dump.

- If it does happen, I will be topping up. This shit is going to be my retirement plan.

this is unbelievable how quickly the thread topics become outdated. The 15k has already been passed. I don't believe that the speed of growth like this is sustainable, I think the correction is imminent and it will be deep and long, too. We shall just have to wait it through, guys

BTC market hike is making everyone crazy as its market value is pumping so high and more people are flocking in to buy btc some of the investors even withdraw their coins thinking that the price will crash but it gave a shock for those who withdraw at 10K USD as the price already crossed 14K and it will be 20K USD very soon because more people started to show interest on btc and hence more people are flocking .It even became a sensational talks of the media and hence more people came to know about it and i guess it will be more difficult to buy a btc in future due to the hike in the market value so its better to buy now.

The US Government has given the green light for BTC to be traded on Wall Street on Dec 10th. What you are seeing is everybody trying to get in before that happens. Only one company will be trading for the first week then they will roll it out to others through march.

I totally missed that! That will surely accelerate the soar of Bitcoin even more. Now we broke the $15,000 mark already and Bitcoin momentum does not seem to break anytime soon. This is just insane if you ask me. Such a sharp and constant increase and no correction in sight. There will be a lot more to come from Bitcoin. Im actually waiting for a correction since october, but instead its just rising and I got my money still sitting in fiat on the exchange and missed that boat. With this news its likely that we soon will see $20k, what do you think, shall I still get in now or do you sense a correction before 10th of december?

With the current momentum, I think the price of Bitcoin will increase in the future, near the end of this year. However, the development too quickly over time makes everything become unsustainable and easy to disappear. So, I think there should be a price adjustment. Any participant would like Bitcoin to grow but not develop quickly and easily.

I don't understand why it is so surprising.
If you bring coin legal in countries especially in US or you add it to exchanges or make some improvements like using it in CME, demand will increase and meantime there is no linear increase in the amount.
So according to these fundamentals it will increase much more.
More legality or acceptance of countries or companies means high prices.
That's all for bitcoin..

I have to say this growth really looks too fast. The first think which comes to my mind is whether they ll be any correction.

What do you think?

Of course correction is bound to happen, the question is when? With all he bullish sentiments going on, how long can bitcoin sustain it? We don't know. What we all know is that CBOE bitcoin future contracts offering starts this December 10, for me bitcoin price will continue to rise up to December 10. Then CME's time to begin offering in Dec. 18. So we gonna see how this future contracts can sustain this massive bull run. This two news really drove what we call craziness and madness.

It's really amazing how bitcoin is growing too fast with just a short period of time. The phasing was really fast despite the FUDs and forks that has happened. I believe bitcoin will rise higher than today. I cant help but to get excited for the next year 2018. No one knows if there will be a great decline on the price. But I am waiting for that to buy bitcoin. And about the hacking of nicehash, i think it wont make a big impact since the bitcoins that has been hacked would still circulate.

As for the FUD, investors have been matured with. They don't care about this so called FUD anymore and no amount of fakes news could swayed the bulllish investors that are willing to pour in their cash despite bitcoin reaching all-time-high. There's a lot of money to make and no amount of skepticism will stop them.

I'm not aware of any hacked though. But if you look at the price, it doesn't have any significant effect.

Surprisingly, the price is already at $14.7k+ which none of was expecting to come before the new year, but now when it came before that, we have no idea where it will reach at the starting of new year. We are hoping for more, but deep inside, we also have a fear that it might fall back very soon because it is growing faster than expected. So as we always say, Bitcoin is unpredictable, and we will only see what happens when the time comes, before that, we can only hope and predict.

P.S: I wasn't aware of the hacking of NiceHash. When did that happen?  Huh

Even Bitcoin and Altcoins can be used as trading in Wallstreet but this blockchain and Cryptocurrency thing cannot be manipulated by Wallstreet Whales. They cannot control the people who have freedom to choose which Cryptocurrency they want to invest.
It's awkward this time that they cannot rob some people assets this time.

What goes up, must come down.

This statement is true however in this case Bitcoin is going up and its not yet the time to talk about going down. Bitcoin will fall in the future because many had believed that Bitcoin isn't the best Cryptocurrency that exist today and secondly Bitcoin is definitely not the official Cryptocurrency that will dominate the future of the monetary for economy and trade.

I predicted last month that Bitcoin will reach the peak of $15,000 but now three weeks left for 2018 will be easy for Bitcoin hitting the mark so the prediction increases into $20,000 mark.
The new question is, will Bitcoin hit $20k before 2018?

Bitcoin's price will definitely increase because of the added demands, popularity, and volatility.
